Very poor service quality and attitude of waiters It was unfortunate for us to end up in this restaurant as we were shopping on busy streets and at the end of the line we got hungry and decided to eat at the first place that we saw. The place is off the busy central area and perhaps that`s the reason... More

On our last trip in Prague we discovered this restaurant and loved the food there. You can dine in the old vaulted cellar and enjoy Bohemian food for a very good price. The service is fast and the waiters are friendly and helpful, even if the U Sadlu has a lot of customers (we had dinner on the evening of... More

Unexpected very good dinner, with big portions of dishes and delicious tastes! The stuff is polite and the price is quite low.

It's been four years since I was first here and the restaurant was as good as the first time. The staff were helpful and efficient. The beer good and a wide selection of different dishes, which the waiter took time to explain. He also helped with our choice of dishes and made helpful suggestions.

This restaurant is located in a cave, decorated with medieval-looking artefacts. Do not wait to be bitted, unless for the queue, seat yourself as the waiter will bring you the menu. There is regular and lunch menu where the latter offers cheaper and smaller portions, also ready within 5 minutes! But even those small portions are HUGE! Read the entire... More

We tried to eat in the restaurant from the first night of our stay in Prague. It was fully booked, as it was all the other nights we asked for a table. Finally on our last night we got lucky. Very friendly atmosphere and excellent service from the staff. We had soups for starters and for seconds we had the... More

Such a fun, little resturant hidden down inside a building. Awesome Czech cuisine. Deer goulash was outstanding, along with the spinach risotto and the Budweiser goulash. Outstanding service and great atmosphere!

This restaurant was recommended by the receptionist at the Hotel Clement. It is situated below street level and so not visible from outside which would probably have put us off it normally. However, the staff were helpful and friendly. It is decorated in a mediaeval style which adds to the atmosphere. The portions were large and the food was excellent.... More

This was great place to have a lunch. Service and food was what I was expecting of this kind of restaurant. My ribs was ok. Some other portions were raw.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
