Went here for dinner and the place was very lively and good fun. We had pork schnitzel with a bowl of the creamiest mashed potatoe; huge portions and very tasty. Strong beer and Belgian cherry beer were served as well. Great squeezebox player roaming around singing and grinning in equal measure! Lots of locals as well as tourists which is... More

A must if your in Prague! The foods traditional and fantastic and their own brewed beer is the best. We had an evening meal and drinks. Atmosphere was great, man playing an accordion all night was quite different and the service was quick and friendly. Would definitely go again and highly recommend this place.

We went there with some friends to have some beer and some side-dishes during evening-time. The service was not very fast but the stuff was polite and we were satisfied with what we ordered. At that time, there was also some live music from a guy with an accordion which we found very amusing.

Beer is , as you'd expect, excellent (and cheap). The Czech Sauvignon bland was, perhaps surprisingly, also very good. Food good and service brisk and friendly. Considering the very touristy location, a very good spot to drink/eat whilst in Prague.

After a lovely meal in an underground restaurant (The White Horse) we then decided to explore the nightlife around the old town. We came across this brew pub by accident. We could see shiny fermenting vessels through the window, and decided to go in. The atmosphere was fabulous, and we were entertained by a very funny accordion player. The beer... More

Dropped by this place for some beers, and can highly recommend it. In the middle of the city center, nice and tidy, with micro brewed beer. 6 beers and some pretzels came to a stunning EUR 15...

When walking back to our hotel we came across this pub and took a look inside, we received a warm welcome so decide to stay for a drink or 2, I tried the home brew which went down a treat after covering over 4 miles a walking tour of Prague. They appear to have a comprehensive food menu and we... More

We only had drinks. But I was surprised to find it was a pivovar. Previous google and trip advisor searches did not identify this as a brewery. Right off the Old Town square you'd think it would have. The unfiltered lager was good, as was the Czech liqueur drink my wife had.
