We had a leisurely breakfast here perched on little stools - it's a tiny space, beautifully done and serves croissants and pastries and good coffee as well as tea and smoothies. Friendly, unhurried service.

This was a stop during a walking tour, with time for drinks only, although the food looked fantastic. But, it's a small venue and I got tired of people walking into me. It needs a few more seats, I hope they can expand.

We stopped in here for breakfast and were relieved to find omelets on the menu which we ordered. They were HUGE and so so delicious. I also ordered one of their freshly made smoothies which was absolutely delicious. We chatted with one of the male employees who was super friendly. Would definitely recommend for a good hearty breakfast!

Bakeshop originally made it's reputation for coffee and pastries in the morning. Personally for a coffee I go one block over to the Dusni Pekarstvi as it's half the price and you get twice as much. But this review is for the soups. Over the last week I've stopped here twice and had some of the best soup in the... More

This doesn't feel typically Czech more like a western style deli/cafe with fantastic choice of salads, light lunches, coffee, cakes and breakfasts in a basic but lively atmosphere.

If you are visiting, you'll be within a block or two as you sight see. Make sure you stop here. I did twice. Some sort of poppy pastry. And strudel. Both great. The line moves fast. Son loved pumpkin soup.

This place has amazing desserts. Don't be fooled by their desserts packaged up in plastic boxes. We got the tiramisu and it was excellent --- so fresh and perfectly made.

The breakfast food here was great - we had croissants and smoothies, and they tasted so fresh. Plus, it's cheap! We came here 3 times in 4 days, we really loved it and would definitely go back.

Perhaps not traditionally Czech but if you are looking for excellent bakery, this is the place. So very sad we discovered it on our last day in Prague. We especially loved the almond croissant (like a bear claw in US) and bread rolls. But everything was fresh and delicious.

From First Impressions you feel like it's a family-run business, every single thing we ordered was so tasty and the staff were so friendly to us. My recommendation is to try the carrot cake

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
