Great coffee and a very large selection of sweet and salty items. Crowded with locals and tourists but staff very friendly!

As the Bakeshop is located near the Old Square of Prague, it makes the perfect pitstop to take a break and enjoy some macarons, one of the delicious pies or a croissant.

Dropped in for lunch on a very cold day with expectations of a pleasant meal.Unfortunately we were confronted by a very unpleasant and condescending female staff member whose behaviour suggested we were more of a nuisance to her than anything else. Her manner did little to assist us to navigate the confusing ordering process. The food was disappointing-tasty but lukewarm... More

Great range of savoury and sweet cakes, croissants, breads, etc. for any kind of breakfast. Loved the ham and cheese croissants and OMG the smoothies are great! Very cosy and staff is nice!

We stopped in for coffee and were pleased to find several gluten free options including macarons, meringues, and another cookie. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Each of the gluten free items were kept separate so as not to cross contaminate. My son has Celiac and he was thrilled to get a choice of cookies!

We came up with this place by chance, while walking in the Jewish neighbourhood in Prague. And it couldn't be better... It was difficult to decide among so many beautiful/delicious itens. We had soup and, as desert, tiramissu and a cheese cake with red fruits.

You are really spoiled for choice here, there are so many options of things to buy and everything looks so tasty. Ordering can be a bit confusing because there are so many locations along the counter to order. Prices are a bit high, so I'd recommend this more for a quick snack than a meal. The cappuccino I had was... More

We found this bakery one evening, it's close to Charles Bridge on a side street in the artsy area. The Bakeshop is cute little cafe that does a range of food and drink. Products were displayed well and the lady working there was really welcoming, polite and friendly. We bought an almond croissant and a plum and apple pastry tart... More

I'd call it "very good" but not "excellent." If you need your sugar fix, you should be able o find something you want here.

We quickly nipped in on the snowy evening and it was lovely to get some scrummy treats. Definitely recommend for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
