Worst place to go. They don't have proper man power as well as manner to run restaurant. We did not find good food. Food was old and not tasty at all. Non hygienic sitting place. If I have to go there is will not go again, neither I will recommend it to any one.

We went to restaurant at the end of lunch hours. Obviously there had been some rush earlier, cause many tables were unclean. Waiter told us to go upstairs because there wasn't big enough table for our group (5 persons) at downstairs. But there was poor airquality upstairs and it was way too hot, no air-conditioning. So we went back downstairs... More

Yes, agreed with others that a new coat of paint would do wonders, but the food is excellent! We had the lunch specials which were well presented and very tasty, not to mention great value. The kitchen staff are young men, do a good job, and the only waitress managed well under pressure with a party of ten South Americans... More

I can't believe that others give to this place such law ratings. Maybe if the place was not called a restaurant but a bistro people would not get so disappointed, cause honestly speaking, the interior is a bit worn out. BUT the food is actually very good! We travel a lot and everywhere we go and there is an Indian... More

That moment we saw there's an Indian restaurant we were so excited, didn't eat the entire day since it's our favorite kind of food. We got there at 5 pm, the place was empty, someone cleaned the floor. They weren't welcoming at all, we felt like they didn't want us there... About the food, and again we eat Indian a... More

Very good authentic food cooked and served by very friendly and professional Bengali staff. The restaurant could do with a lick of paint, however, the food is the best of it's kind in Prague

If you are looking for a quick and cheap lunch and dinner..this is the place. More of a fast food kind. Few meters away they have a lunch outlet, do serve food in the evening as well. Don`t go there if you want to enjoy a long evening cosy dinner. Place was very warm.

Food was great and tasty. Service was simple with lack of garnish on food. Not very welcoming and did not feel they cared even though we were the only customers from 8 -10pm. We tried to create conversation but the replies were not leading to much as we wanted to know about the country. Lot of blabbering from the workers... More

A busy place at lunch times, the lunch time specials were cheap and the portion sizes generous. Chicken tikka was very good as was the sweet lamb curry we had. Highlight of the meal though was their mango lassi......worth going back for them alone

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
