Not sure why this place in no. 3 in town, there is nothing special to it. The service is friendly but not really attentive and the food is really average, nothing to be raving about. The location is nice and maybe this is the biggest advantage of the restaurant. The prices are ok.

We just walked by this place on our way to the hotel Mlyn and saw they had veggie options. Not knowing what Czech vegetarian food is, we were pleasantly surprised to taste the many options on the platter and also got the veggie pie and pickled cheese. Everything was delicious but the pickled cheese I will never forget. It was... More

This little restaurant was recommended to us by our guide and I'm glad we took the time to have lunch here. The food is fantastic and the wait staff was very friendly and spoke English. What makes it special is the ancient building it sits in! You really feel like you've stepped back in time to the Middle Ages when... More

Special place with specific atmosphere, old and interesting building, nice terrase with amazing view. It's not a place where you can try some extaordinary food, but it's very good, a lot of meat, huge plates (main course you can easy share for two), nice local beer, very friendy stuff.

This place was recommended by my Tour guide to try the Czech classic "smoked beer" and I wasn't disappointed 3 times. Great service too.

This little place very near the river has one of the best service ever in the form of Daniel. We returned twice in a day, for lunch and dinner, because the service was warm and friendly, food was reasonably priced and very delicious. We especially love the cabbage soup and chicken with millet casserole. :)

We decided to try this restaurant because of the medieval-themed food. We were greeted pleasantly, seated and our waiter was prompt in bringing our order of local beer. The meals which arrived soon after, were delicious. I had the chicken and millet casserole while my friend had the chicken and potatoes with herbs. The pieces of baked millet were flavourful... We stopped by to have a rest. They serve good local beer, local cakes - you can enjoy it on a terrase by the ricer. Staff was nice and warm. To me, it was better than average place in Krumlov.

It caught our eye from the bridge. Delightful but the wind made it somewhat chilly. The potato, cabbage and sausage soup is a must and seems authentic. The smoked pheasant platter was great and I'd not had smoked pheasant before but will now . The Czech plum cake and cabbage pastry seemed also authentic , made from either millet or... More

Great service and an awesome location. Sat outside overlooking the river and was plenty warm enough as we sat beside a gas heater. The Vegetarian Bohemian meal was awesome and included lots of foods that I had never tried before. However I also ordered a garlic soup that was extremely bland and lacked any flavour, from the garlic, the broth... More
