My son and I had a portion of chips each . We had a large battered sausage and a medium Cod. Chips were a little undercooked and at £2 for the smallest portion in the place, this was very expensive compared to anywhere else nearby. Fish was nice but nothing to write home about. Eaten from here for several years now and always had good quality food. Friendly staff and good service. Just had cod and chips, lovely, not a lot else you can say.

Unfortunately hit and miss. They can't seem to master the art of crispy chips all too often pulled from fryer too early or cooked at wrong temperature.

My Daughter bought some chips and find a daddy long legs, it had been cooked with the chips. She took them back and the guy didn't take any notice and carried on talking on the phone. This was a nice place, we won't be going there again.

Ordered 2 shish kebab on the phone was told 10 minutes, 10 minutes later I'm there and paid all good, staff are friendly as usual, I do all the affectionate knowing nods that we all give each other, it's a nice thing. Anyway, chicken not quite ready, so happily wait, 10 mins probably not long enough to be sure its... More

Not many chippies are open on a Sunday so I was delighted to find this one open Sunday evening. Freshly cooked cod & chips, one of the best I've had, creamy white fish, not one bad chip. When I put it all on my plate I thought I was never going to eat it all, but it was so delicious... More

Enormous portions, kebabs to die for (and if you try to eat all the 'Dolphin Special' you've a 50-50 chance of bursting during the attempt!) - an all round excellent chippy
