Very Spanish atmosphere, good prices. Friendly staff, three charming waiters: David, Jóse and Paco. We were still able to get tapas at midnight, even though they were just closing the kitchen. The whole experience was good. I would definitely recommend this place.

Only locals and Spanish tourist. Great food for a reasonable price. Away from tourist busy square. Nice atmosphere and beautiful Pata Negra hanging above the bar. Air conditioning inside

When dining out in Andalucía the ambience is usually as important as the food. The Bodega Socorro in Ronda has an abundance of quality in both respects. It is perhaps the most popular restaurant in the center of Ronda, primarily because of two excellent cooks and a very friendly staff. Coming from Connecticut, we have visited there many years: and... We visited late one night then went back the following lunchtime. Great food and a very popular bar, we had no spanish but the staff were very patient and helpful.

On our road trip back to Nebraska we ate lunch on the way out and dinner on the way back. Pretty slow at the lunch stop and had a little issue with waitress disappearing but the food was absolutely wonderful. Lots more going on in evening. Had a young lady with guitar singing and the bar was also open along... More

This place was recommended by a local and we really enjoyed it. As I seen others saying you should know some Spanish, but that said we sat at the bar and had a great time, food was great staff was very friendly and accommodating, actually making us some "small plates" of things not normally served that way.

Hang around among the locals (bring some Spanish, the staff doesn't speak anything else) and enjoy the food. At least if you don't mind seeing the staff handle raw meat, hams, etc with their bare hands...

We fell into this bodega in a rainstorm and were pleasantly surprised at the ambience and the good anchovies tomatoes and ham. My husband had a good manzanilla. There were a number of locals in the bar end.

This is the worst food I have ever eaten in Spain and Europe. So oily and greasy that you can not eat anything and it is not cheap! Fried Auvergne, French fries, cotelette (in fact a kind of 2 cm bone with oil coming out of the meat that even a dog would barely eat), frozen espadon, everything was disgusting... More

Great little tapas bar located just off a central square, after spending a night in Jerez de la frontera we traveled back via Ronda. We where looking places for lunch when we found Bodega El Socorro - when you walk in you can immediately tell that it is a proper tapas bar! With the little bar side tables and the... More
