This is a lovely family restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. If you have children, there is a lovely outdoor play area where the children can play and be easily watched over as you enjoy your meal. The food is fine and there is plenty on the menu. Not a great selection for vegetarians but depending on your server, they will offer to make something different. The pizza is definitely better than the pasta so I would recommend that. Nice place, friendly staff, good pizza. Worth a visit.

A group of 30 dined here, our pizzas, fish, salads, tiramisu, cheesecake were superb, cooked quickly and to perfection. Extensive menu - would recommend 200%!

I’ve eaten here a few times when I have visited this area of Italy and I have never been disappointed. The food is all very fresh and tasty and the prices are extremely reasonable. If you are in the area this is definitely a must try.

We ate here three times and enjoyed all three visits. The pizzas are excellent and among the best in the area. Portions are very generous. The home made deserts are worth considering; I enjoyed the zuppa inglese.

I think over 2 hours for a pizza sixth quite unacceptable, there were 6 of us we got 5 and the sixth one came when the rest had finished eating, staff were more interested on customers coming in for a takeaway than customers already sitting . They won't see me or my family again!!!

One of the best restaurants in the area... a must try and ask for Paul he’s very helpful and he speaks English if you need it! Buonissimo!!! Everything on the menu is great and the specials are a must!!

We visited this restaurant twice in a week as all of us in our party of 6 loved their pizzas which were freshly made and cooked in the wood burning pizza oven.
The service was average, on the first visit the waiter was not very friendly and did not speak English to us even though he spoke it very well, on the second occasion he was only slightly more friendly.
We also found out, on our second visit, that they do take out too which we would’ve done over eating in.

I have been visiting this restaurant off and on for about 10 years. It is so consistently good that I have taken its qualities for granted. Starting with the staff: Paulo, Alessandro and Daniele (the owner), all are highly professional and attentive. The food is excellent, particularly the fish: spaghetti alla vongole, frito misto and risotto alla pescatore, though the pasta dishes are up there with the best. I have never been disappointed with a single meal, though I haven't tried the pizza, which I'm sure is excellent. The house wine is easy drinking and typical of the area.
We have visited La Lanterna with friends and none have been disappointed. The restaurant is hugely popular and during the Summet booking is a good idea. There are quite a few restaurants in the beautiful Valle Di Comino, but few maintain the consistency or good value of La Lanterna.

We waited a few minutes to be seated but were allocated a large table with a nice view of the gardens.
Not a big choice on the menu but the food was tasty and arrived fairly quickly and the pizzas were delicious and reasonable prices too.

The best pizza I had in Italy during this visit. What raised it above the rest was the base and this was due to the loving preparation the pizza chef put into working the dough. I watched as she prepared the base. She took a lump of dough, flowering her hands and flattening the dough slightly. She repeated the procedure several times until the pizza was the right diameter. I have seen other pizza cooks just take a rolling pin and roll out the dough. I don't know if it really makes a difference but these pizzas seem lighter and softer, containing the right amount of air making them quite. delicious on the palate when combined with the toppings.

We have just savoured another wonderful meal in La Lanterna.
This is my favourite restaurant in the Comino valley.
The food is wonderful,the bean soup is to die for, pizzas are light ,full of flavour ,the best !!
Everything is really good.
The service is friendly,efficient and helpful especially Paul .
Great wine ,reasonably priced
The perfect meal .

Not bad this pizzeria with stoneoven.
Pizzas are fairly priced but the toppings are focused on the center of the pizza leaving the edges bland.
I had a selection of cured meat and cheese.
Nice also the appetizer offered by the restaurant while-you-wait

The transition to Pescasseroli, we made a stop at this little restaurant. Good choice, as the owners are a unique kindness, equal their professionalism. Pizza ottima..croccante and tasty, low prices compared to other competitors. We will meet again soon. :)

This is the second year I have been eating here and it was as good this year as it was previously we went last year in a large group and got one of the best antipasti in the area the food just kept coming out. This year just the wife and myself ate a couple of meals here and again the antipasti didn't disappoint it has to be a house specialty my wife went for fish myself mixed grill both fantastic plates of food and great value. The service was excellent and we will be back great value for money
