You can see all the way back to Auckland from the restaurant. It is a beautiful setting. We ate lunch here also. Service was very slow and the place was only half full (if that). Wine pours are also very small for the price.

We had a booking for 8. I made the booking over 3 months ago & confirmed only a few days before we were to arrive. Upon arrival no one knew or had heard about us at all. We got told there was no booking. Really good when you have 8 people wanting a meal! They set us us a table... More

We were catered for beautifully. Meals were divine as was the wine. The views spectacular. Rustic elegance.

Food and views are great, but for the prices people get charged this place needs some work. Waiter poured the entire bottle of wine out into four glasses, food arrived and waitress asks who ordered this. ( ever heard of number settings). Sides arrived 40minutes before the mains. Two people ordered the same dish and they were different sizes and... More

Loved this little winery, the views are just out of this world. Enjoyed the owners offbeat sense of humor as well

I was in New Zealand on a work do. We had a 3 coarse meal at mudbricks. Everything was fantastic. The food, the service and the view. I would eat here again given the opportunity. I had the best lamb rump I have ever had. Cooked perfectly Can't go wrong it definitely deserves a 5 star rating

On a sunny day, sitting on the terrace enjoying Mudbrick's wine and meals is an unforgettable experience. If you go to Waiheke, make time to enjoy this.

Wonderful place to have dinner. Fantastic seafood chowder! And paired with a remarkable pinot gris. Overall, the food was very good, although my filet was not the best cut - should have sent it back, in retrospect. But it was paired with an excellent red blend. Would like to have tried more of the wines, but it was my first... More

The gardens & grounds at Mudbrick are just gorgeous & on a beautiful sunny evening as a New Zealander it makes you appreciate how lucky we are to live in such an amazing part of the world. May have been my choice but I was a little disappointed with my $36 meal of Pasta which was very bland. Other half... More

This has to be the BEST Waiheke has! I have had some good meals as well as some shockers on Waiheke! Mudbrick is a Winner - I had been to a Wedding which was Faultless last October and we took Overseas visitors for Lunch today. What a treat!!! The 4 of us were very impressed.
