Hi D V. Thank you for your review, and I'm sorry to hear about your experience. However we are little bit confused as we do not serve Sandwiches? Best regards Andy

Always had a good meal here, and they stock loads of lovely gins! Staff are friendly and helpful. As a group we had a small open room to ourselves.

Visited The Poet on a Saturday evening and were seated in a lovely table by the window for two. Enjoyed 3 courses with accompanying drinks, excellent service, great food and lovely ambience. Would highly recommend.

I'd call and ask Andy the proprietor - he's always very helpful and with sufficient notice would accommodate your request I'm sure. It's fabulous food in a lovely country setting - you'll not be disappointed. Lindsay.
