Over the years Rud - Alpe or the Heart as most tourist call it has deliverd in good style. A fire inside and a wonderful hot choclate makes for a good stop. When sunny terrace is attractive. Call and book in advance. Traditional lunches that are well made.

Hot chocolate was a highlight - they give you a bar of chocolate to stir into hot milk - delicious. I chose a dish called 'Groestl' or something like that. Far too much of it even though I was sharing with my husband - and I wasn't very keen on the ham. But other dishes looked very nice.

We arrived here for lunch during one of the days we had a ski lesson. We ate outside on the terrace and had some great views. I had the penne with sun-dried tomatoes. It was very tasty and was a good-sized portion.

A great place when you're looking for lunch on the ski slopes. You have a great view over the village of Lech if you can find a spot outside. Otherwise, you can enjoy the real Austrian coziness inside and enjoy traditional food or drinks. You can also reach it by foot so you can enjoy your lunch with friends and... More

Our group lunched here twice. Loved everything about this Resto...menu, food, service and location! A happy place to hang out. Prices were reasonable and the food was fresh and very good. Cheese plate & strudel were favourites. The service was fast and attentive. Toilets were very clean. We easily skied down gentle slope to Lech village, crossed the road to... More

Good for lunch, or either a late afternoon drink and Strudel to finish off the day. Charming converted Alm!

Great food and a candlelit bar. Fabulous hot chocolate and friendly staff. Even when busy at the peak of lunchtime the service is spot on. A real treat.

Excellent place for the apes ski to begin - only about 200 metres above the town. We had a couple of sessions there last week and really loved the atmosphere - good Jagerbombs, too.

Tried to book dinner here but they only open Tuesday's and Thursday's , I think, and there is a two month waiting list, so book when you book your holiday! Stopped for morning coffee or last run beer almost every day. Lovely atmosphere and impressive wine cellar.

Stopped into Rud-Alpe for a quick lunch while skiing in Lech. The service was very friendly and efficient, no long waiting to take and deliver the order. The lunch menu has good variety. We shared beef stroganoff and noodles which was very good and not too filling for an afternoon of skiing. If you have a larger party make sure... More
