I think this place has high ratings and a huge traffic because there is not other Asian food of this type in the Noosaville. We are here on a short break and went there because of the good rating. And we were disappointed. I had Singaporean Laksa which was meant to be "the best in town". May be it is... More

Over rated, probably the worst tourist trap in Noosa and I fell for it. Plenty of other better options on this strip. Small serves for the price. Arrived an hour before closing and had people packing up around our ears.

This place must be doing very well judging on today's crowd. It may be difficult getting a seat in "peak hour." The food is lovely. I would highly recommend it for a casual meal. I will be going back on a regular basis.

We arrived in Noosa late Sat evening, after a day's travel, decided to find somewhere close by for a light meal. We came across this great very busy place, diners eating out front and full inside. What a find it was, so much so that we have eaten here for two nights. We have enjoyed entrees of coconut prawns, fish... More

I have been to Taste of Spice several times, the quality & freshness of the vegetables (I am a vego so cant comment on non- veg dishes) are so consistent & the meals just delicious. Roti channai, the stirfries and laksa are yum & the chef clearly prides himself on producing excellent meals. Hubby says best garlics prawns he's had.... More

We were waiting for an apartment to be ready when we were up for the jazz festival, walked from the bus station to Sunshine Beach Road (50 meters) and stumbled onto this small noodle shop. Tables all full (good sign) - stared across a group of 6 to the daily special blackboard, and they took us through it (that sort... More

We went looking for another restaurant, but found it had closed permanently. On a Sunday night this little place looked busy, so that's always a good first indication. Friendly service, good quality, low cost food. The chef spoke to us at the end of our meal, which was a nice personal touch.

Order anything from this quirky hole in the wall and be surprised by the authenticity and flavour. The staff are helpful, the seating is tight - you are right on the street - and it can be noisy but it is the pick of cheap eats in Noosa
