Staff very polite. I was going to give a 4 star but it lost 1 more star because of the serving had way too much batter crumbs mixed through it. Well cooked just can't get past the excess better crumbs.

I do appreciate that they were very busy being Good Friday but for $62 I expected a little better.. our fish & crumbed prawns were mush & the chips were very brown & sad looking.. Would I go back, sorry but no..

Best Fish and chips we had on our trip. Young staff but very competent and polite. Would certainly go there again.

This is our local go-to place whenever we're in the mood for some fish and chips. The servings of chips are usually quite generous. We've tried the cheapest fish on offer, but find it's worth spending a bit more to get snapper, which tastes delicious. They have a good range of foods, so you can supplement your meal with things... I loved the decor inside Mody Dicks more than their fish and chips! We ordered snapper (crumbed), barramundi and shark (battered) with chips. The snapper was ok, a little flowery in taste and soggy near the crumbed coating. The chips weren't the best I've tasted either. And the staff behind the counter seem a bit disorganised. Moby Dick's was ok... More

The fish was moist and nicely cooked. I ordered one piece, and received two,( probably because of the size ) but was a pleasant surprise . The chips were not so good, tasting as if the deep fryer could do with a clean

After being here for a few years and tried many of the fish and chips in town I will never go anywhere else. Every time it is great. The staff are young but everything is always cooked perfectly

Fishermans Basket is a perfect mix. Also there are many extras to order. Phone and order ahead and it will be ready. Easy parking.
