Good meal. Generous servings. Port Campbell was very busy over Easter but Waves was able to give us a table for dinner.

They were friendly but the service could have been more attentive and they accidentally gave me non-gluten free toast. Tried to get their attention - waitstaff needs to keep a better eye on the tables. Hot cholocate tasty.
My partner, myself, and a friend stopped by the restaurant for lunch around 1;30pm. We were staying in Colac for two nights to conveniently access the different attractions. We were not impressed with the sandwiches which my partner and myself ordered. My friend ordered the fish and chips, he had to ask for the tartar sauce and he was not... More
This was a welcome place to find open at 8:30am as the rest of Port Campbell was closed. So we went inside for breakfast. For cereal for two people and eggs on toast for 4 it cost $100. It sadly is not unusual this entire township of Port Campbell is over expensive and takes tourists for granted. My personal view... More
We'd been to see the sunset at the 12 apostles and drove into port Campbell at about 8.30 to realise that not many spots were open (even on a Friday night) Waves were open and they welcomed us to sit and enjoy a meal. The wait service was fantastic... they didn't offer anything that jumped out at me for mains,... More
The staff were so annoyed at life and it showed... my husband ordered crispy bacon and it was cold and close to raw, he asked for it to be cooked more, the waitress then said , what do you want it burnt. ? We were covered in flys. The toilets were clean, which is the only nice thing I can... More
This restaurant is convenient for those on a journey on the Great Ocean Road. At the time of our visit it was quiet and as such our food was served promptly. It tasted good and was enjoyable. One of our party ordered a second meal as he had enjoyed his food and fancied the steak sandwich I had ordered.
We arrived at Waves for dinner & had to stand in line while everyone paid for their meals just to get a table. We were told to just go and sit somewhere and waited more than five minutes to get a menu. After having the menu dropped off & waiting another ten minutes without even being asked if we would... More
We had dinner here one evening in Port Campbell along the Great Ocean Road. The food and service were very good. To be recommended.
Friendly staff, but prices are on the high side. We had the vegetarian curry at Aus$26 which was very filling. Dont even think about a starter or dessert
