Arriving with my family I casually ordered a breakfast for four us ...two ordered first and the other two a few seconds later...nothing too complicated just a normal breakfast, the kind of thing I could whip up at home buf being on holidays in a...pandemic oppressed economy I thought I would boost local tourism by paying 41 dollars for breakfast. 15 minutes later the early order came out ...after waiting 45 minutes and noticing others who had arrived after me receiving their meals I thought I would follow up on the status of my order. I was told that my meal was on its way followed by the same person telling me that my order had been deprioritised in preference of another group of customers who had ordered a bigger breakfast selection . I found this an interesting proposition a service model based on who is willing to spend the most. After being socio branded as one of a lesser socio economic value I waited ano th er 15 minutes before I figured a total one hour wait for a breakfast roll, was a bit extreme.I followed up on the status of my breakfast. Approaching the front counter I was soon aggressively confronted by the manager facing me a hands width from my face...mind you not wearing a face mask ! She followed this up with...well what do you want me to do about it!!!! Seriously lady maybe you could not have not bumped my order for other customers..perhaps a bit of humility and an apology would have been nice and ask yourself how would you feel if this happened to you . To any person reading this I would recommend that if you spend your money here, remember speed of service is based on how much you are willing to spend. Poor service ,attitude and common decency ! Non -deserving of tourist dollar!!!More

We’re a family of four. We ordered four meals for lunch, but when only three arrived there was obviously a mistake. We asked the waitress to find out where the last meal was. It turned out that the order wasn’t on the docket. My wife...swears she ordered all the meals, but hey, let’s be generous, it’s as likely our mistake as it was the cafes, so we’ll just reorder. Not so simple. The waitress insists she’s not going to take the order and we need to place it at the till. Except the queue now stretches out the door. This is going to add another hour onto our lunch and we’re also taking up valuable table space, wouldn’t it be easier to let us skip the queue so that our son can eat with us? Nope, apparently not. Clueless.More

Our favourite coffee spot in Apollo Bay- for every visit! The coffee is exceptional here and the most delicious tarts, cakes and food with options for dietary requirements. We always come back here for the laidback, friendly service that stands out in Apollo Bay against...many other businesses that can be overcrowded or too “bustling” with the rise of tourism. Sandy Feet is a genuine, lovely beach style cafe that takes you back to realising you are sipping a delicious, authentic Chai near the sea and can pause a moment in time. A relaxed atmosphere and highly recommend.More

Average food, limited drinks choices for dinner. Long wait times. Owner was entertaining but could be taken as rude by others. It’s a cafe!

Probably one of the better cafes on the Main Street. Average to good menu, soups and curries looked good, toasted sango’s and smashed avo pretty standard fare.

Delicious fresh food, with friendly efficient service. I thoroughly enjoyed one of the daily specials, Seafood linguine with a mild chilli dressing. My husband enjoyed Polo penne, cooked to perfection and enjoyed a beer and glass of rose.

Ordered two serves of Tofu scramble, two coffees and a lemon tart. All were delicious, and out within 10 minutes despite it being busy. They cater for every dietary requirement - as a fussy eater myself I was very happy to learn this. People around...us all were served very attractive meals within 10 mins of sitting as well. The portions are larger than expected so it's definitely value for money. The service was very friendly! My partner and I were very happy and will return next time we're in Apollo BayMore

Don't let the unpretentious shopfront fool you. The food is beautiful and the service is friendly. My husband and I had the specials of the day which were Seafood Linguine and Pork Belly. The linguine was probably one of the best seafood pasta dishes I've...ever had, and the pork belly was lean on fat, yet succulent and tasty. Sandy Feet is our new "go to" restaurant in Apollo Bay.More
