Nice looking bar in close proximity to where we were staying. However went downhill from there. Staff completely inept with dealing with more than 2 patrons at the bar at a time. Waited while other patrons after me were served. Eventually given warm glass of wine. Returned to bar to request ice and waited. Again. After waiting another 15 minutes... More

My husband and I were in Caloundra for a few days for a quick break and were happy to find a bar / pub that we could walk to which was able to cater to my allergen needs. A nice drink with a good meal looking out at the beach with the guitar playing in the background is good. The... More

Drift is the popular place to go! We Really enjoyed just sitting at the bar tables having our coffee, wine and beer early in the day. We ate somewhere else but returned for another round later in the night. Expresso Martini was to my liking. This bar has a great vibe that keeps louring us back again and again. See... More

I popped in here with my parents and my kids on a whim while beachside. Do not regret it one bit. I had the brekky burger, it was what dreams are made of!!! It was too big and I had to remove the hash brown to eat separately and palmed off some bacon because I couldn't fit it in. That's... More

Went for Breakfast & the coffee was great, Best Eggs Benny with Bacon I've had & my sister had the Zucchini fritters & she enjoyed them also. Only downside was the table water was warm & no sugar on the table. Ice chocolate is made with ice, not ice cream & cream but some prefer that. 😁

We came here for breakfast and had the corn fritters and the avocado on toast with heirloom tomatoes. In a nutshell the coffee was good, the avocado et al was good but the corn fritters were a bit of a dissapointment - they were a bit like they came out of a packet (although maybe they didn't). Happy to try... More

My partner and I are locals and visit this bar quiet frequently but after last nights visit I have no idea why we return. On a number of occasions there has been people sitting at our reserved table and we have had to find a space elsewhere. The bar staff are either extremely arrogant/rude or sarcastic to the point of... More

Popped in to wet our throats before heading elsewhere (pre-arranged) for dinner. Great beer selection, very good wine, and friendly staff. Good prices too. Although we didn't eat at Drift, the food we saw being served looked very good and the menu was quite attractive. Why not give it a try? We would have if we'd had more time in... More

Just a lovely setting with a variety of both interior and exterior seating to suit almost anyone. Super friendly staff and a wonderful ambience albeit it could be a little cooler on a hot day. And, when ordering the bruschetta ask them to go easy on the oil. Otherwise just a great, laid back experience.

Coming from WA and regularly paying nearly $20 for 2 beers, imagine my surprise when I ordered a pot & a schooner (small & large) beer for $10! Next round I was informed it was happy hour and got 2 large beers for $8. I think I need to relocate here. Added to this, you get to sit right on... More
