Being a local - I've actually avoided the CBH for some months now - but ended up there yesterday for lunch. Pleasant surprise! The renovations were quite nice - very "Hamptons" in my opinion - white washed tables and chairs, foods trucks, ample seating and...More

The meals have certainly improved since that last time I dined here. Over this summer I've tried their flathead & chips; pork cutlet; schnitzel & pizza which were very tasty, prepared nicely and with generous serving. Yes, the Pav down the road offers higher quality...More

About 12 months ago the food at the CBH was genuinely inedible. This was so disappointing as the beer garden, I mean the whole venue has such a great outlook in such a great location! It was so disappointing that we avoided the place like...More

Very accessible by public transport, Coogee is the
smaller, friendlier, more intimate version of Bondi
Beach. Coogee is the only beach in the Eastern suburbs
that does not have big waves, making it an excellent
family beach. The Coogee Bay Hotel, located right
across the beach, has one of the biggest beer gardens
in Australia and plenty of entertainment every night
of the week. Be on the lookout for celebrity
