If your are looking for a fancy place to eat this is not the place. If you are looking for good Dominican food and seafood you have to visit Luis Restaurant. Always stop here for lunch when on vacation in Las Terrenas. Love the lobster although this time around (week of May 15 2017) I couldn't have any lobster. Was... More

A very unusual set up and very different restaurant, if you can call it that. All tables are outside and they are all basically like picnic tables. The food was good. The service was good. The drinks were good. But the view makes it a must visit. What a beautiful spot! It creates such a nice time that we hung... More

This restaurant, called Luis, is located at Playa Coson directly on the beach. You will need ho get there by taxi or by taking a ride on a 'concho', which is a motorbike driven by a local person. They will take even two passengers, including one's shopping! They cost very little, depending on the distance, of course. For a 2... More

Menu mostly limited to catch of the day. No one speaks English and a little difficult to figure out how to order. Always good. Great beach for swimming. Always go back each year.

If you are in the Las Terrenas area for vacation check out this place, right on the beach,Playa Coson. They are only open for lunch. Prices are moderate, except for the whole lobster (in season). They grill everything from chicken to fish. Shared a great grilled Snapper with sides, rice and beans, salad and french fries. Tables are set up... More

When you arrive the place is just a small wooden hut where you choose the fish you are going to eat and the way they will cook it for you. The beach view is fascinating and they offer a variety of dishes besides fish. The food is not expensive, and the side dishes are just salad, fried plantain and French... More

we got to pick our fish right from the ice...and had a table right on the beach under a large palm tree for lunch this day. So, this is a pretty rustic place...practice up on your spanish and your experience will be much better. We order a red snapper that was in the water earlier in the day. Rice and... More

Our party of 8 walked to Luis Restaurant from the Viva Wyndham V resort. The beach was perfect for walking and it wasn't too far. We all had a drink, which were nice and cold! Service was great and the atmosphere was rustic and fun!
