Had a really lovely meal (late lunch) here, calamari salad and the seafood chowder. Both were very good. Portion size was decent - chowder came with 3 pieces of garlic bread (which I didn't eat) but looked really good, would've made it very filling. We had a cocktail each which were made well. Sat on the sofas beside the fire... More

After reading some favorable reviews on Trip Advisor I decided to try Ababa for a celebration dinner. Things got off to a rough start with no fish, steak, or chicken available due to being sold out. Granted it was a Monday night probably not the busiest night of the week but it was grad week. We ordered venison and pork... More

I have been coming to Aqaba frequently in the last year after a long period of staying away due to bad service. I had a recent review where I wished I knew the name of the great girl who always serves us, it is Perene! She is great, knows who we are, knows what we drink and generally does a... More

Big party (18 of us) celebrated with a meal at Aqaba. Plenty of room inside for us all and many others. While the meal took a little while to get to the table (not unexpected because of the number of guests) when they all arrived, there were no complaints from anyone! Service was great, food was absolutely delicious (I had... More

I had the Chicken salad( crispy chicken and a super fresh salad) and Chrissy had the Roast honey pumpkin and beetroot salad... she loved it. Also had an Asahi beer and she had a Pinot Gris. Great ambience, very fast, and throughly recommend. Charlie

Aqaba restaurant/bar has been around for decades at this location. Its worth a visit just for the building itself. Originally built as a Masonic lodge, it has later housed clothing retail and was a Night Club venue. It is huge. Come and look. Yesterday we were the first there for brekkie where, after a brief domestic argument within our nuclear... More

To be honest was hugely disappointed here . The building looks so inviting from the outside. Inside its like a big barn with poor acoustics and ambiance. We walked in and had to search for some one to tell us where to sit as we had booked. They did not explain that we had to go to the kitchen to... More

Have been here any times in the past so thought it would be good - however ordered the special - a pork and apple burger. Sadly not even a whiff of pork or apple in the nose or the mouth. I certainly could taste plenty of breadcrumbs - staff response less than satisfactory. Many good restaurants around so won't be... More
