We were a party of 6 and we were all disappointed with the quality of both the food and the service. My baby squid in tempura batter was large pieces of squid in an uninspiring batter. The rice that came with the duck wasn't hot...More

We were warmly greeted by the waitstaff and seated without a fuss. Whilst the waitress didn’t know what gin or vodka they stocked, she was quick to find out and drinks were ordered. We were given an appropriate amount of time to peruse the menu....More

It's been quite a few years since we have visited this Margaret River institution. It did not disappoint. Pastas were delicious. Service was excellent. If you have time whilst in MR it's a must. We mad the trip whilst staying in Yallingup.

Just to confirm that whilst we do have a history as a character and quirky restaurant it is a little unfair to assume that we do not wish to compete in terms of ambience. We did actually have plans for a very extensive refurb this...More

We are glad you enjoyed everything Chris. The focus at our restaurant is local, organic and free range so our ingredients are expensive to source. Hopefully this is reflected in the taste and quality of our meals.

Sorry you did not like that dessert Leslie, it is fairly new but fast becoming a favourite. Looks like the great meals and local wine made up for it though, which is great.
