Recently had dinner and breakfasts in this restaurant. The food preparation was excellent, well presented and perfectly cooked. Good service as well.

Very average cafe serving very average breakfast with very average staff manners. Other tables were offered table water whilst we had to go and serve ourselves. The main waitress was not exactly pleasant in comparison to the younger waitress on the floor. With regards to food, try a smaller cafe like Mondello because this is worth a pass.

I'm sorry you felt the staff let you down with regards to the service of water. Our normal procedure has been to allow guests to help themselves to the Vestal water during breakfast service. However, with larger tables, the staff often take the water to the table to avoid congestion at the water station. However, this is not a good... More

We really enjoyed the service and the food, we had trio of dips which is an oldie but this one is really lovely with the little nann breads. We had duck taco, YUM. And my husband's steak for mainstream he said was delicious. The wine and beverage list has lots of choices. Lovely meal.

Staying in house at the Sebel & decided to try the restaurant. We'd just arrived back at the hotel, after having some drinks elsewhere, & hadn't made a booking. The restaurant was very busy & we didn't like our chances but they quickly found us a table. Despite being busy, the staff were excellent. We shared the dips as an... More

Great meal last night. Main course I had fillet of pork which was cooked perfectly. This was served with lovely arancini, pear and a vegetable purée. Lovely combination. The fellas had lovely thick scotch fillet steak and again cooked perfectly. To their liking. This was served with whole potatoes and pepper sauce that they really enjoyed. Dessert was Devine. We... We often eat at Market Square. We have never had a bad meal. The service is 5star. The menu is regularly updated. The food is great, and beautifully presented. Always nice and hot, which is important.

In the past, staff have been inclined to be chatting rather than keeping an eye on tables. Not this time - they were superb. The scotch fillet was the best I'd had in a long time, and the fries yummy (crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy inside). Lemon curd tart outstanding. Hubby really enjoyed his lamb backstrap.

Decided to stay in for my birthday meal and what a great idea, the food was to die for and capped off with great service. You have a great team here. The tasting board of scotches is also a must do and a good local wine list.

Absolutely blown away by the food, and definitely met our expectations. Such a hidden gem of fabulous food and a marvelous attentive and kind service team. Nothing was too much trouble, even with a fussy eater among us. Very friendly staff.
