Specialising in fish and chips, and food with a Greek influence. We had battered orange roughy, chips, and a delicious salad with orange and lots of baby tomatoes in it.

This cafe built up an excellent reputation in a niche market. Cathy the owner specialized in fresh food with a Greek influence. It was a great cafe the doors closed in January 2015.

Just great, go there. The food was prepared fresh as we ordered it, and the free range scrambled eggs looked sensational

Great spot, nice view, that's as far as it goes. First "restaurant/café/fish & chip shop" I've ever been to that intentionally serves bones in the fish and doesn't bother to warn you. Mistakenly questioned the owner Kathy only to receive a tirade detailing her years of experience. Good luck Kouklas, you've lost us as customers and as many others as... More

Excellent relaxing setting and a great meal. The service was prompt and lookout onto the Tamar River at Gravelly Beach.

Just a short note to advise that Kouklas has re-opened in almost the same location and is now known as Hooked on Kouklas. They are specialising in seafood particularly take-away.

This WAS a pearl but it has unfortunately closed. The owner has indicated that she has some future plans but have seen nothing to-date..

We went with a large group and started off with a mixed plate which was absolutely delicious. Fetta cheese, sundried tomatoes, mini meatballs and so much more which was all devine. I had the slow cooked lamb which melted in my mouth. The flavours were impressive and the serving was very generous. It was such a wonderful dish, I will... More

Beautiful rustic food on the Tamar River. Not much Greek food in the Launceston area, so very welcome. Great place for a sunny day when it has a nice holiday feel. Can be quite busy, so pays to book as it is a run out of town. Well worth the trip.

Since my first review we have been back many times and have tried almost all the desserts on the menu. each one is fantastic, sometimes i think there's a bit too much of the sugar syrup (as delicious as it is, but it does get a bit much) but it's really a minor gripe. high chair is available.
