Serendipitous find. Sat outside under the dappled shade of a plane tree. Shared the blue cheese soufflé/fondue - perfect - sad faces caused by the lack of a spoon or bread to scoop up the delicate chess fondue sauce. Soon rectified, but for that type of dish we shouldn't need to ask. The bread was crusty and perfect for wiping... More

A large group of friends (filling two long tables), and the staff couldn't do enough for us - they were marvellous. We started with a tasting at our tables (see review under the winery Borrodell Vineyard) which was a special treat, a very comfortable way to taste. And then there was the food. We all selected different dishes and covered... More

A very pleasant place to have a leisurely lunch on a beautiful day. Sisters Rock is situated in the Borrodell Winery overlooking the Towac Valley. The menu is limited in its choices as it changes seasonally. My husband and I had the Pork Belly to share accompanied by the Borrodell Apple Cider, it was delicious. Our friends shared the Seafood... This must be my sixth visit to Borrodell. The food is delicious, the views exceptional & incredible wines! The staff this morning were wonderful & the champagne breakfast perfect, it was a little windy so we sat inside but still lovely to relax and enjoy the views. We cannot wait to come back and try the latest lunch menu.

Took my husband here for a birthday lunch and was really disappointed (and very different from previous visits). It served what I would describe as stodgy old people food. I struggled to find something on the menu that interested me and settled for a mushroom cobbler which mostly tasted of raw flour. Such a shame as this place used to... More

We ate dinner there after a long day at Bathurst. The meal was amazing and the staff wonderful and helpful. The view was incredible and the Gewürztraminer was wonderful . The owner came and sorted out some heat so we could stay outdoors to take in the views. Would certainly recommend

This gorgeous restaurant is a lovely place to spend your afternoon, sipping on delicious wine, enjoying a flavourful hearty lunch (or dinner) and getting lost in a view that is out of this world. But on top of all these, the restaurant is staffed by trained professional waitresses who were friendly and attentive and not overbearing from the start. Colourful... More

I would only recommend going to this vineyard solely for the view. Maybe they were having an off day but we arrived to do some wine tasting and have some lunch and the older lady there running the place was nothing but rude and unprofessional throughout the process. The restaurant had about 6 customers in it with numerous empty tables... More

Very romantic atmosphere, outstanding views, lovely attentive staff and the food, what can I say!! It's fresh, very well cooked and the flavour combinations are awesome. If you're a bit of a foodie you will love this place. Also great for the kids to run around and explore while you enjoy lunch.

Description
Sister's Rock Restaurant is a family-run restaurant, located at the top of Borrodell Vineyard, overlooking the Pinot Noir block. Enjoy the food & wine in a venue with glorious views over the slopes of the Towac Valley to Orange in the distance. Our philosophy of food has developed around a love of growing produce on the property and serving it straight to the plate, a true reflection of the seasons. We are a heritage apple and plum orchard, vineyard, grow cider apples for our own traditional cider and black Perigord truffles. All meals are accompanied by Borrodell cool-climate, award-winning wines. The menu changes regularly according to seasonal availability. Please phone to discuss the current menu.
