Great for high quality coffee in this modern grunge cafe. An eclectic mix of vintage furniture and clientele. Great for quick meal or snack though the main attraction is the awesome coffee.

Bad everything. Slow, too cool for school and/or high staff.. the ugly, sticky mismatched furniture on wobbly tables is just gross. Walk in and the clientele seem to 'catch' the staff attitude and glare at you while you go about your coffee-ing. It's just unpleasant.

The coffee and cake were both very nice. Unfortunately the music was so loud at times it was impossible to hold a conversation. It was not consistently to loud but always on the side of being difficult to be heard.
Headed here as heard it was the best coffee in Newcastle. No let down on that score. However all the hard work on that front spoilt by slow service (a bacon and egg roll and muesli can't be that difficult) and unfriendly manner the order...More
