Lined up for 25 minutes to place a dinner order here recently. The staff member who took the order advised of a 45 minute wait, but meals only took about 30 minutes. Meals were good for pub grub, but menu could be improved by adding a few lighter options. One of our group needed a gluten free option and this... More

During a family road trip we decided to venture out to the Macquarie Inn for what is reportedly the best steaks in Dubbo. This is our second trip to Dubbo for a holidays in the past couple of years, and have previously enjoyed our meal and drinks there. We arrived at approx 1830hrs on the Saturday night, and proceeded to... More

Typical country pub value! Great little playground for the kids to run around on with CCTV camera displayed on a screen inside (You can see what your kids do when they don't think you're watching!) Nice warm place to be on a clod winters day!

I often visit the Macquarie Inn for work purposes and am never disappointed with the great food and service. The pub itself is always clean with a great atmosphere, there's even open fires going in the cold months. The staff are always very helpful and the food is excellent value for money. This pub should be very proud of the... More

We have eaten here a couple of times. Basic bistro fare which we enjoyed. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Children are provided with stickers, colouring in activities and novelties. They also eat free on Fridays.

I chose this motel for is location off the main highway. The room is spacious but needs some modernisation and repair. The door was very hard to open as it was stuck quote firmly at the bottom maybe due to a wet rainy day. The bathroom bench has an ugly swollen part and the louvre does to the patio were... More

We recently visited Dubbo from Adelaide to attend the world breaking attempt for the most amount of women on motorcycles. The after-event entertainment was held at the Macquarie Inn. After waiting almost two hours for our meals, they were bland (to put it mildly). No one at our table was happy with their meal or how long they took. And... More
