Every time we come home to visit, top on the list of things to do, is to go to "Tony's". This place never changes (in the very best of ways). The food is always great, love, love having a sole fillet and bluff oysters!!!

I went to the Buller Cafe especially for a meal of fresh locally caught fish. I was not disappointed. The meal was delicious, well presented and well priced. Would recommend this cafe.

While visiting the lovely town of Westport, my family and I popped into the Buller Cafe for dinner - it had pretty good reviews on TripAdvisor and was one of the only places open … If you like choice, then you might say this is a good place to go. There was a Chinese Takeaway and Fish & Chip Shop... More

There was only one type of fish on offer (was fresh & cooked well), chips bit over done & greasy, and vege noodles were lacking flavour and were short on veges. Staff were friendly and service quick.

Those who wish to have a meal on the premises in the small and very basic restaurant. The food is of a high standard and the... More

I too am a regular visitor to the Buller Cafe where my choice is the fresh homemade Roasted Pork Bums or Chicken and Cashew, and the famous 'Tonys' Chips made from potatoes peeled and chopped out back as the have been for maybe 60 years. A fantastic value for money, great food and very friendly family run business!
