No criticism, but it was a huge place with a games room and TV. We sat outside which was very pleasant as we could look over the lake - a magnificent sight. Happy hour was appreciated by some of us, and the soft drinks were very reasonably priced.

did not eat there, but visited for a beer laye afternoon. It has a good car park, and is quite a large bar/eating area. An order of chips will feed an army!! Went 3 time as also a good place to meet up

After a long day visiting Doubtful Sound it was nice to crash out at Moose. We sat outside on the terrace with lovely views of the lake and the mountains. Good honest pub grub and good service.

Went for the pan fried fish with prawns. It was delicious, generous portion and very friendly waiting staff. Hubby enjoyed his fish and chips. Reasonably priced and very tasty.

views, food, atmosphere were all excellent , unfortunately when we first arrived there were 3 staff at the bar where we stood and waited for some form of service or even acknowledgement that we were there but there was none , not even a "will be with you shortly" we found some menus and tables and sorted ourselves out.

We enjoyed a late dinner at 8pm on a Monday night. The staff seemed quite busy and rushed, but still took the time to seat us immediately - which was appreciated as we'd just come from walking the Milford track. The food wait was not long 15-20mins max. We were thrilled with our meals - as most hungry hikers are.... More

Stopped in for lunch on an extremely hot nz summers day. I was grateful for a cold beer but was sadly let down with the quality of the meal. Ordered a seafood basket, which was huge, but not up to scratch in terms of how it was cooked and was overly salted (cunning ploy to get you to buy more... More

We got the rib steak with shrimp and scallops and it was quite good. This is a pub/sports bar style restaurant. The people were friendly and there was a good selection of beers.

Dropped in for a beer and stayed for dinner after the glow worm cave tour. We both had the 300 gm prime rump steak which was cooked as requested, tasty and tender with a good serve of vegetables. Great value for money, the only downside was the bar service which was a little slow.
