The sushi was delicious, fresh and amazing my wife had the 'best catsu curry ever' and the tempura was perfectly lightly battered. With all this coupled with some large glasses of asahi beer you have a winning combination.

Look, the food here was great but I was expecting a little more of an "Irrashimase!" when we entered. Sukiyaki was very tasty. However, like all food in Queenstown, it is pretty expensive. There are many other Japanese places in Qtown but this was the only one I got to try. They have Asahi on tap too!

For the price that they charged, the amount that they served was really small. I was surprised that you had to order rice separately from your tempura. In Sydney, very few Japanese restaurants would do that. Go somewhere else.

Mealfor two with sakes was NZ$70. Food was of a high quality and freshly prepared .. 'he' is a nightmare being exceedingly picky about his sashimi but was mightly impressed. I had great gyoza and sushi. Well worth a little extra for a authentic Japanese meal

Went here for lunch. I had the spicy ramen and loved it, best I've had so far. Normally I find ramen very bland and don't usually enjoy it. My husband had a bento box with a little of everything and he ate everything and said it was very fresh and enjoyable. Didn't try much from the menu but likes what... More

Ordered an Unagi Don and Sashimi Don. Only got two pieces of Unagi on top of rice and found hair on Sashimi Don. Tasteless and heartless dishes.

We arrived there with 30 minutes available for a meal. Not only did we finish before that, but the food was absolutely delicious. Worth a visit if you like genuine Japanese food.

My friend and I ordered the soft shell crab and pork Gyoza as entrees. The soft shell was "4 pieces" which was one crab cut in quarters which is overpriced at $13. And the Gyoza also although fresh and delicious was also over priced for the portion. For the mains we had both had udon. One tempura and vegetarian with... More
