CONSISTENTLY GREAT

You get a warm welcome. The food tastes really good and they use fresh ingredients . The coriander in my masala sauce yesterday was SO GOOD. My friend and I come here every couple of weeks or so for lunch (do get the occasional evening dinner as a takeaway) and its a great deal for what you get. Ive had (and excuse my spelling), the Kardi paneer, masala prawns , spinach paneer and she has chicken tikka masalaor lamb channi or butter chicken. Garlic and plain naan always delicious. We have never been disappointed and thats what I really rate about Ferry Indians is that they are consistently great. Happy to recommend. Lunch is a curry, rice , naan and a fizzy drink for $10 vegetarian, $12 Chix, $14 Lamb/beef and $15prawn. More expensive of an evening (and likely larger portion size).

Great curries at great prices

Have eaten here on many occasions as well as many takeaways and not one meal has failed to stimulate the taste buds. Great food with a staff that reflects the food, simply awesome. A great curry house all round!

New favourite curry

Our English friends have shopped around our local suburbs for the best curry house and reckon this is the winner. It’s hard to disagree. I went for the Lamb Anarkali and it would be hard to choose anything else from now on. Just the right balance of heat and flavour. The lamb was succulent and tender. The other diners had a range of paneer, chicken and chickpea dishes and loved them as well. This is a great place. Highly recommended.

Wonderfully aromatic and tasteful...

We ordered takeout and I really wanted to have a goat curry. We also had butter chicken, a mixed platter, plus naan and various dips. We were extremely happy purchasing from Ferry Indian-Chch, and would highly recommend eating there. Thank so much for an aromatic, tasteful dinner. We'll be back!

Understated & exquisite

Intimate venue with low-lighting, comfortable seats and beautiful artwork. All waiters are princely in their manners and service. Food is stunning - starters, mains, and desserts. I highly recommend the do pyaza, paneer tikka, soya KFC curry, and spicy lemonade drink. I am seriously co side ring not eating out in my hometown when I return because they will all be so disappointing in comparison. The best meal I’ve had during my 3 years in New Zealand.

Very Tasty

Have been here a few times now and have done a combined review. Have had both takeaways and dine in which are both very nice. Takeaway can be booked on line which makes it easy and is hugely popular. The dining area is sufficient even though it is not large. The staff have always been great to deal with. The menu is large and there is something for everyone. We have been there as a couple and also with others and others have also enjoyed it. We also ordered takeaway for a family gathering and everyone thought it was great tasting. This is now our go to Indian and will keep on returning for takeaways and dine in.

Consistently delicious food

I have visited this restaurant many times, for lunch with family and dinner with friends. It is consistently delicious food and friendly and attentive service. The Haryali chicken is very yummy and my curry of choice is a Kadhai. I highly recommend you visit and awaken your tastebuds.

Great Food

Visited with friends on a very strong recommendation and was not dissapointed. Ambience was good, the staff were very attentive and friendly. Service was spot on but not overpowering. Food was quite exceptional and the pricing was very much to our liking. Have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant and we will definitely return.

Always Great takeaways

Had a number of takeaways from here and it’s always as s very good. You can order online and avoid Uber. Bhajis are always lovely curry good selection and tasty. I would recommend.
