What a good restaurant. We arrived early and had a drink at the bar where we chatted with David, the owner. Excellent cooking, plus professional and friendly service in a spacious modern setting. David also recommended a couple of really excellent wines, so do take his advice. If you are visiting Christchurch don't miss this great restaurant.

Realy disappointed with the service and it spoilt the experience. Waiter very abrupt and not at all happy we ordered wine by the glass. Things did improve the busier it got as he moved to another table but certainly not a welcoming feeling. Not sure we will go back although the food was outstanding.

A short menu but quality ingredients and cooking. Lamb fillet was well presented and cooked as was the fish of the day. Long list of good wines by the glass.

Lovely restaurant with lots of room between tables. After ten days on the road and eating out every night in restaurants with loud music playing, it was a pleasure to be sheltered in quiet luxury. Wonderful wine list with a library of reserve wines and affordable selections also. We had Two Hands Angel Reserve. The Angus beef filet was well... More

Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Christchurch. Great menu, interesting wine list and faultless service.

Exceptionally delicious dinner! We loved the lamb loin and the homemade farfalle with crime brûlée for dessert. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

If you're looking to order and appreciate great wine with your meals, then this place has some fantastic drops on offer at very reasonable glass prices, although some of the bottle prices did seem out of ratio to this. You won't find your main stream supermarket drops here so provides a nice change to many other local restaurants. The food... More

We popped in here on a Wednesday night for dessert, a glass of wine and a coffee. It was delicious. All of it! The jelly tip dessert and the white chocolate mousse with violet sorbet dessert wwere divine. The wine was nice and I love that you could buy in 50ml 100ml or 125ml (or something like that) glasses -... More

in a stylish - rather elegant but relaxed (and to support that a linen tablecloth would have been nice) - atmosphere, we were treated nicely and politely. The choice of food was limited - with the advantage that the quality and freshness were very good indeed. Impressive collection of wines served by the glass. A little bit too expensive (a... More
