We booked a wine tour, tasting and lunch the day before. Our guide was Antoine from France and he was very knowledgeable. He told us all about the 29 varieties of grape grown; the Hans Herzog philosophy of wine making; all about the wine making...More

Had dinner in the bistro (restaurant closed due to winter) - very nice wine list with good recommendations and background from the staff/ sommelier. Food was really nice (European/Asian Fusion) and top value for money. As I was sitting near the cosy fireplace the slight...More

We stopped in for a wine tasting but saw signs for the backyard. It was heavenly, quaint and so relaxed. Food was great as were most of the wines. Highly recommend this locale as we will return on our next trip.

We didn't eat at this restaurant instead we were on a wine tasting adventure and found this winery by accident. Good find! They are one of very few vinters that actually attempt to grow cabernet in this region, and they do a good job of...More

Huge props for this place. Not only does it have a great feel; cosy interiors and a lush garden, but it has great food and great wine. My partner and I arrived after the kitchen had closed however the chef was more than welcome to...More

We had dinner in this beautiful bistrô. Food, service and dinner were faultless. The vinyard is charming and the wine they produce taste. Price was reasonable for the food we got. Both the lamb shank and Ox chicks were perfectly cooked. Its was perfect!

This was a highlight of our recent self-guided cycle tour of the Blenheim/Renwick vineyards. The young man who talked us through the wines was informative but relaxed, and the wines themselves were different but lovely. We purchased, and would highly recommend you stop by Hans...More

Contradictory to some of the other reviews, my wife and I felt the service in the Bistro was good. Our disappointment was in the food which was at best average. I've seen other reviews mentioning "supermarket cut of steak" and would agree. My ribeye was...More
