This cafe is authentic middle eastern cuisine.. Good service and interesting menu. Ignore the fast food facade and go into the back restaurant for great dishes.

We were last here just on a year ago and loved the food and the atmosphere. This time, not so much. Okay, we were early diners but that hardly excuses the guy at the front counter ignoring us and the waitress getting our order wrong (at least she didn't charge us for the missing Fatoosh). The dips were bland and... More

Stopped in for lunch during a lunchtime walk. Found awesome food. Kebabs were very yummy and good value. Recommended

Quick friendly service, quirky atmosphere right in the hum of Courtenay Place, and great food. And we had four big, tasty meals, shared starters, drinks, and a bowl of lovely olives for $120, so you can't grumble at the value! Highly recommended.

Dined in, had the lamb tikka which was so tender and tasty. Good service, reasonable good value for money. Highly recommend

I pass the Sahara on the way home from work. With a takeaway kebab shop at the front of the cafe, you could be forgiven for not realising there is a full cafe service available in the back. The service is friendly and you are seated quickly. The decor is dated but you're not there for that. The menu has... More

We ate here on the spur of the moment with our two young kids and the cafe was very accommodating. The service was good. The food was fantastic and we would definitely eat here again

I was basically wondering around clueless not sure where to go for lunch. I ended up near Sahara and decided to give it a go. I ordered a chicken kebab $10.00. Got all the salads and some jalapeños. Yoghurt and Hot Chili sauces. Kebabs are pretty straight forward. They are either good or bad. This was really nice. Nice chicken.... More

I'm never disappointed when I go to Sahara Cafe. Whether I'm dining in or getting a kebab on the run. Everything is so fresh and delicious and the portions are generous. Nothing is a problem for the very attentive staff. Their wine list is not very extensive but there food is definitely 5 out of 5!

Ordered spinach borek very disappointed all pastry hardly any spinach or feta in it, very fatty have had this before at other Turkish restaurants and always nice. Complained and they said different to other restaurants, may I say this could be why there were hardly any customers, go where the crowds are always the best indication of a good place... More
