We had read about this place on Trip advisor so decided to find it. Wasn't too difficult but is in a side street but still within walking distance of all central accommodation . The staff were great at explaining how the coffee order works and...More

Stopped in for coffee and breakfast. The coffee was so good it stopped me in my tracks (try the flat white flight if you have time). Had scrambled eggs on sourdough too - just superb in execution. Wanted to stay but had to head to...More

I went twice there with my partner for a coffee because was perfectly made. Normally, baristas don't like to make coffee with soy milk, but I notice that they put some effort on mine one. Apart from this, my partner is really picky with the...More

I hate places that offer the same old thing for breakfast, no fear of that here. Such an interesting menu made the choice difficult but the food was so worth the tough decision. Only complaint was no one made me aware of the coffee 'flights'....More

It is rare for me to give an outstanding report but this place ticked all the boxes. The coffee was a delight served at the perfect temperature. The roast flavour was spot on with a beautiful creamy smooth taste. I could not fault the coffee...More

It's true folks. If you think you're a coffee snob then this is a must visit. Staff member was able to explain choices and brewing processes really clearly. We chose a different coffee each and tasted both - the differences were exactly as described. Also...More

My colleague and I were attracted back here based on our first experience where the Coffee and Breakfast were amazing. On this visit I was saddened by the 180degree turn on the breakfast quality. Maybe a bad day. Still, one of the best darn coffees...More

We went here for the coffee experience and weren't disappointed. The coffee is good, in a cool, central spot that was so popular, people were queuing out the door on the wind and rain on a Sunday morning just for a spot. To their credit...More

Went in for brunch on my own (don't ask) and ordered a black coffee - there was a choice so whatever one they wanted - an OJ and a rosti. The juice was excellent. The Rosti was OK, but it's flavours - artichoke, avocado and...More

Description
The Flight Coffee Hangar is a specialty coffee cafe in the heart of Wellington city. Our fresh, seasonal coffee menu is rolling every day of the week, with over 10 different coffee offerings to choose from. Multiple espresso options, some rare gems on filter, our single origin tasting sets and the 3 cup "flight of the flat white".

We have a coffee farm in Colombia where we grow and process our most interesting coffees. We import these coffees and others from community projects around the world to Wellington, roast them around the corner at Flight Coffee, and then prepare them here at the Hangar for you.

We're are home to the 2015 and 2014 NZ Brewers Cup champion, and the 2013 NZ Barista champion.
