When travelling I rarely have breakfast at the same place in the same city two days in a row. This little hideaway is fantastic at Miramar in the same street at weta cave if you are doing the tours. Had the scrambled eggs with Manuka...More

Have visited the Larder previously for coffee which is great! Tried the dinner menu this visit and the food was absolutely amazing. The staff were super friendly & attentive. The salted peanut butter dessert was outstanding. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back. 👌

Though I've lived in Wellington for most of my life, I had never ventured out to The Larder. It just so happened that we had family visiting and so we decided to go to Weta (another first) and lunch at The Larder since we were...More

This small bistro style coffee shop/ restaurant is just up the road from The Weta Cave. But that's not its patrons, this busy spot is full of locals stopping in for breakfast or brunch. The fresh bakery items are great. Full breakfasts could choke a...More

What is so delightful about this restaurant is that it feels like a delicious find in a rather unassuming neighbourhood. Fortunately I had friends to bring me here otherwise I just might not have had this culinary experience. The whole experience was unstated elegance and...More

I've been to The Larder many times before and always found it to be top notch. Whatever I ordered always seemed to be exactly what I wanted and taste was incredible. But the last time we went, something was off. Maybe a new chef? The...More

Depends on what you order but generally speaking the menu is fine dining at cheaper prices than you'd get a cafe meal in the city.

The food is excellent and staff are well trained. But the noise level is high when it's busy, which is often. Park kitchen is quieter.
