We visited this cafe twice in two days, there is a certain relaxed vibe to the place that draws you in. The staff and service are good, the food pork belly, steak, fish of the day yum. Great coffee and seriously good milkshakes!!

Visiting Wellington for the weekend to see a friend we decided to go for brunch at Beach Babylon on a Friday. This is definitely my favourite meal, everything about breakfast/brunch I love, so my expectations are always pretty high, I can't help it! After tossing...More
Great selection on the menu, including vegan and vegetarian, and plenty to keep the carnivores happy too. Good size servings. Good selection of cabinet food too. It's busy and the tables are close together, so we did feel as though we were eating with the...More
Went here for a lunch with friends recently, was a great experience. Attentive service & great portion sizes. The food itself was great, we ordered corn fritters, fish & chips, the beef burger & the superfoods salad. No complaints from anyone. Happy tummies, will be...More

Not a lot to choose from in Oriental Bay but fortunately this is here. Not posh - very beachy and alternative but reasonable menu. Huge beverage selection. Only downfall is the coffee service. - even when very quiet. Visited 3 times and you wait so...More
This is a very popular Wellington location as it's one of the few cafes along Oriental Bay, so great on a sunny day. Great bunch food (especially the rosti) and generous serving sizes, handy for the bigger appetite. Coffee can take a while to arrive.
