Friday dinner here. Unassuming place, easy to walk past. We went on a recommendation. Eclectic no frills place, which I quite like. Decent menu options, quick service. We ate early as heard it can fill up quickly after 5pm. Food arrived quickly. I ordered the Dumpling Tom Yum. They had run out of dumplings but offered won tons instead. That... More

Seatings are congested. Food was blend, chicken laksa was not anywhere near the laksa taste. The nasi lemak was a huge let down. The Aunty Mena's special tofu was good but on the whole the food was very pricy, small portions, and being a vegetarian, Asian food enthusiast this place will not be a good place for introduction towards Asian... I had missed a chance to eat here the last time I passed through Wellington, but this time I made sure to arrange it so I could have lunch there on my way north. And I made sure to stop on the way back through because it was sooooo tasty! I had spring rolls, dumplings and deep-fried mushrooms, Nasi Goreng... More

Great food for a great price. After trying to get food near by at a place with rude staff and literally no where to sit, we came upon this place. Food was excellent. Curry soup on a cold day is a dream.

Very modest, simple and unassuming place. The atmosphere was easy going. This is a no frill place that serves tasty food and in generous quantity. The only negative point was time delay to serve. Wall decoration was eye catching and unique. Yummy food not to be missed out. Located in the busy Cuba street.

There's no need to worry about meat turning up in your dish here and being a vegetarian this is a huge plus! I love Asian food and aim to support vegetarian places. Lot's of selection and it has even pleased my carnivorous peers. The food here is ok, although I have found several dishes a little bland. The deep fried... More

We found this place while searching for a place to have lunch. From the outside the restaurant does not make a big impression and it looks like hundreds of other asian restaurants. As soon as you are inside you realize it is a special place. The walls are uniquely painted and decorated. The service was very friendly but a little... More

Busy simple restaurant in the heart of the city. Many choices of food and well informed staff eg gluten free. Very popular with locals and visitors so you may have to share a table but it adds to the fun. The service is not fast as the meals are freshly prepared and well worth waiting for.

Super cheap ($10-15) for mains, and big portions! After all my visits I've settled on Nasi Lemak with soya slice and potato. Their deep fried dishes are too heavy and fatty, so avoid these if you're after healthy, light food. Their mock meats are spot on, so if you're a meat eater and want to try out vegan food -... More

We were pleasantly surprised and the food was really yummy. We had the vegan/gf version of the Laska, tom yum soup, and the Chow Mee of which was delicious!
