I went for dinner with a couple of colleagues and what a wonderful evening. The restaurant is definitely intimate - a relatively small place and, the night we were there, really busy so it was pretty noisy. But if that's the worst of it, a little noise is a small price to pay for such a sumptuous evening of food.... More

Service was outstanding. On 2 waitstaff and they were like a well drilled machine. Food was top notch, had the best T-Bone Steak I've ever had. Will definitely be back. Thanks.

Visited for a family birthday. Service as we walked in was a bit quiet with the attendant not speaking at all but that improved as the evening went on and staff were generally very friendly. Had the angus fillet and initially thought it looked a bit small but was very filling and was excellently cooked to medium rare. Everyone else... More

Went in a group of four for dinner. The seafood chowder made a delicious entree and I enjoyed the Thai beef salad as a main. I didn't have a dessert but tried the creme brulee which was excellent. The service was very good, helpful and friendly

Out with a group of friends we decided to come here for dinner. MAKE A BOOKING. not the largest of places but the food is FANTASTIC. Ang was our host and lots of fun and laughs. Took our talbes order (10 of us) without writing it down also included our drinks. Everything was perfect.

Went there twice for dinner on a 3 day visit to Napier. Fully booked the first time but they gave us a seat outside and rugs as it did get cold. Service was excellent and so was the food. We went back again 2 nights later. They were fully booked again but fitted us in. The service was even better... More

We were a group of 10 who arrived at an already humming place. Good vibes warm and friendly service. I ordered the beef Wellington which was perfectly cooked so tender and the other garnishes were simply prepared so tasted very fresh. Have been here a few times and certainly won't be our last .

Have been there often, as the food is great, and the customer service is excellent. Can be a bit noisy when full, better for small groups rather than big family or friends gatherings. The Fourth Door is great for pre dinner drinks..

We had dinner here on two consecutive days because we just fell in live with the place. Cosy and warm atmosphere and the food is outstanding. Full of flavour and beautifully presented. Anj is the owner and she manages the welcome and food ordering so well. We can't wait to return on our next visit to Napier. Highly recommended!!
