We ordered an Eggs Benedict and a Full Breakfast plus coffees which were all lovely. Just wish that we could have had room to eat some of the delicious looking cakes and savouries that were in the cabinet. We would... More

Undercooked poached eggs, over-charged (accidentally). But coffee was nice, portions were ample and staff were nice. Mixed bag.

On Monday I felt too lazy to prepare lunch, so we went to Zest. I tried the baked potato with the mushroom sauce. It was amazing. R. got lasagna, it was good too. (But my baked potato was ten times better.)

Whilst staying with our daughter in Gisborne, my wife and I visited Zest Cafe for breakfast. A great menu assortment, and the coffee and tea were lovely as well. I echo what other reviewers have said, the staff are friendly and happy to chat. For me this is a sign of a thriving and popular business.

I have been here several times in recent weeks - the coffee is great!!! The staff and owners are sooo happy to chat with you while you wait for coffee and the chiller cabinet and menu boards offer a good looking amount of fresh food for brunch or lunch. Service really good.

I used to be a regular a Zest until my workplace moved. Great food, excellent coffee and fantastic service. In my opinion Zest would have to be the most consistent (and consistently good) cafe in Gisborne.
