We were shocked that at midday on a busy weekday (with two cruise ships in), we had a table to ourselves. Made me a bit... More

Arrived at the Daikoku Botany branch tonight for dinner with a group of friends looking forward to a good meal. When we asked if they had space for a table for 5, the manager... More

On our last night in Auckland we opted to have Japanese and didn't regret the choice of this restaurant. Great food and service and reasonably priced. Will definetly visit again

For a get together we met at Daikoku to enjoy Teppan-Yaki. We all enjoyed the food and the way it's been prepared including the quality.

Visited with my wife, son, daughter in law and grandkids, 3 and 4 for lunch. Simply put, the teppanyaki meal was really good and the two youngsters were totally embraced by the staff. Really impressed.

I had a very nice farewell lunch of a work collegue here, my first experience of a restaurant and it was both very tasty and very entertaining. I was told that at night it's even more "acrobatic" and more expensive too. The sake is a great option!
