This place is a must when visiting Auckland Central as you have a choice of several food outlets, Indian, Sushi, French, etc. I particularly like the Vietnamese, all at a reasonable price. Seats are set out in a hall like fashion but looks more like a pub, one choses from their particular stall but remember to take the table number with you as they need this to be able to find you when delivering your meal to you. Alcohol is available should you like something with your meal. Downside is that it can be noisy plus the word is getting around and it can be very busy.

Hmmm, food court - I don't think so. How wrong we were! This should not be described as a food court - it's a wonderful collage of restaurants serving a diverse array of food styles that deserve "wows." The restaurant/food choices were amazing and if I had 3 stomachs, we would have tried more. For the most part you find seating in a open area with long tables and after ordering, your food is delivered to you. Some restaurants have a small eating area inside but it's fun to mingle with everyone and socialize at the communal tables. The lamb chops at Little Big Grill were super yummy and the draft beer and pappadam w/dips at Ela hit the spot. Jim enjoyed getting his dessert there too - ice cream with chocolate drizzle. We only got to try 2 out of the 12 restaurants ... hoping to return for lunch and try the others before we leave.

Elliott Stables is a great place for a group! Amazing food choices done in a great concept. You reserve a table (it gets very busy so reserve a table for a better experience) and then walk around the food offerings, make your choices, pay and go and sit. The food and drink is delivered to your table. It was quick, efficient and friendly service. The food choices are quality restaurants; not like mall food courts. Choices of Japanese, Italian, Latin, Chinese, Korean and many more. All food was served hot and good portion sizes. Favorites were the lamb chops and risotto from the Italian restaurant. Some epic strawberry daiquiris and delicious samosas. Enjoy!

Elliot Stables have been providing Aucklanders with great service. This is the place me and my family love to go eat either weekdays or weekends, Food is delicious and such a good price. Definitely a good place for family to each different type of meals and food offered by different countries. Weekdays there are just above 800 people enjoying meals at this delicious and tasty place and for the weekends we hardly go as it is overpacked with so many people enjoying their meals. There's time where the tables and chairs are dirty but its always cleaned up quickly by the staffs there, business not going well due to covid-19 happening in the Auckland region. Overall best place for food

This was honestly the worst place we have been. We had a group of 8 of us who were left hungry and needing to go somewhere else for dinner. It states open from morning till 9pm/late and we were able to book online, however at 5:30pm there was only a pizza place and a french crepes place open! So disappointing that there was no choice in food what so ever. We asked what time they all opened and one of the staff said they should all be open at 5pm. Additionally the venue was dirty. Overall a total let down. Don't advertise you are open if you are not!

This is basically a food court with an variety of small food counters. Pick a table, order food and they’ll deliver to your table. First off, it was filthy. The bus boys clearing tables didn’t even wipe off tables, much less sanitize anything. Out table was sticky and marked with drinking glass rings. We ordered fish and chips from the seafood counter. It took over 25 minutes and the fish had too much thick gummy batter on it. Pick someplace else.

We liked Elliott Stables so well that we ate dinner there 2 nights during our trip. There are about 15 separate restaurants lining the outside of the eating area. So many choices! Our party tried Italian, Seafood and Burgers. All pronounced the food excellent. Prices are reasonable. You can't go wrong here. It does fill up so you might want to make a reservation unless you come in early.

Finished our first day in Auckland with dinner at Elliott Stables. This is a food court with a difference. Find a table, then order courses from any of 12 restuarants which surround the courtyard. Everything from organic burgers, to Japanese, Cajun, Indian, French, Philippino, Italian and Asian Fusion, as well a grill, a juice bar, seafood and English themed offerings. We went for the Lamb Shank and lovely it was too. Not like a standard food court at all, it had bags of atmosphere like a restaurant, but effectively a huge menu. Loved it!

This is a great place to eat if you want to,choose from a selection of different types of food. You can get a table in the middle and then pick from any of the eateries on the surrounding area. The food then gets delivered to your table. There are plenty of options from sushi, Italian, Indian, Chinese, British, Turkish and lots of other choices. Always lively and not expensive

This is a hidden gem in city center. It is comprised of literal "stalls" (former horse stables) that house a large selection of restaurant choices from Indian, Sushi, French, Fish and Chips, etc. Wine, beer and in some cases full bar are offered. I had great dumplings and sushi and my husband had an indian curry. I also had a delish dessert crepe. Highly recommend. It got crazy by 1 pm so recommend showing up at noon opening if you want to browse and beat the crowds. This was recommended to us by a local. Thanks Tyler!

Interesting concept...have central areas to dine from then have a variety of restaurants to order from and they would bring the food out to you. This would appeal to people who want something different to eat. The establishment is housed in an old horse stable, hence the name.

Elliott Stables is a must-visit place in Auckland. My husband and I visited Elliott Stables twice during our Auckland trip. The first time we had Streaker burger and Vanilla shake from Smash Bros and Pancetta pizza and Fettuccini Alfredo pasta from De Niro Ristorante. The Streaker burger was the best burger I have ever had in my life! It was so good that I had to get up in the middle of my meal to compliment the chef. It was absolutely amazing!!! My husband said that his Vanilla shake was one of the best milkshakes he had in New Zealand. The Pancetta pizza was also absolutely delicious. The Fettuccini Alfredo pasta was delicious, just your standard Fettuccini Alfredo pasta flavours so you cannot go wrong with pasta. The second time we came we had Skillet cornbread, Texas beef brisket, and Jambalaya from Bonz Cajun Kitchen and Angry bird bao, Philly cheese steak bao, and Pork and prawn dumplings from Bao Baby Bao. The Skillet cornbread was sooooo good. They make it fresh when you order so it is nice and warm when it reaches your table. The butter on the top of the bread had no chance to melt because we eat it so quickly. Beyond delicious!! The Texas beef brisket and Jambalaya were also very delicious. The Jambalaya had a bit of spiciness which was amazing. I loved the chunks of sausage and rice inside Jambalaya. Out of the two baos that we ordered we both preferred Angry bird bao because the chicken was so delicious and moist while the sauce had an amazing flavour. The Pork and prawn dumplings were also very delicious. The actual dumpling was cooked to perfection. Overall, we had an amazing time at Elliott Stables. If we had more time, we would have been back for a third time to try other restaurants like Hop in Latino.

A lively, energetic food hall with tons of variety and a unique vibe that somehow manages to merge the Asian street market scene with a cozy European pub feel. Location is excellent- right in the heart of the CBD - and the food is all excellent! We loved it so much we ate here several times on our trip. The space is huge with plenty of small, intimate tables or family style tables if you’re feeling sociable. The building is one of Auckland’s historic buildings dating back to 1910 and the space is decorated so nicely. Definitely a great spot to relax and hang out. The seating in the core is totally British pub style with dark wood tables, benches, and dim lighting to add to the ambiance. The seating around the outer rim is lit with skylights above and decorated like the streets of Europe. And all around the walls you’ll find some really fun neon Asian street signs - such an interesting mix and makes it really fun. Our fave restaurant is Lepak. They serve up Malaysian deliciousness and our fave dish was the Nasi Lemak - coconut rice, chicken curry, nicely fried egg - fabulous!! We got this several times and it was consistently excellent. We also tried their chicken satay, Malaysian milk tea (hot), and mini curry puffs - all of it was lovely - highly recommend! Our second fave is Bao Baby Bao - their buns are soft and delicious- especially the Angry Bird Bao which is like a mix of bao buns and trendy hot chicken. We also tried the pasta carbonara from De Niro on one visit - it was just ok, a little heavy and a tad bland but otherwise ok. The Asian food genre is definitely the way to go here imo. Prices are pretty reasonable, especially by US standards - and the quality is definitely there. It gets pretty packed but we always found a seat easily. Staff were all welcoming and friendly. They have large, clean bathrooms but I’m not sure about the parking situation since we walked from our hotel in the CBD - it’s a very walkable city.

This is our go to place with our kids when we’re in Auckland. It takes care if all the varied tastes of our 6 kids and everyone is happy with the huge variety of choices. All are full and happy when we leave. It’s an awesome vibe and a great place dine. Totally recommend. Get in early on a Friday or Saturday as seating can be limited.

Eclectic, vibrant, interesting, atmospheric, we loved it here. Very quirky offering with various food outlets around a courtyard. We ordered from different places but they arrived within minutes of each other. In the wine shop with happy hour, ask for a bottle, the price is ridiculously cheap and drinkable. Brilliant visit.
