My wife and I enjoyed lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant is well decorated and had fun French music playing in the background. Service was quick and friendly. The food isn't super cheap (a savory crepe is around $20) but it's authentic and the portions...More

I have rarely been so much surprised by the authenticity of a place as at the Garde-manger! The galettes are brilliant, they taste like on the salty coast of Bretagne!! The restaurant's decoration fits perfectly and creates a charming atmosphere nobody should miss!! If you...More

A good selection of Gallettes (savory buckwheat crepes), really done well, in addition to French classic main courses. We had the Scallops Gallette and the Coq au Vin . Both were really outstanding! Even the bread was excellent.

Excellent beef, cooked to perfection, good accompaniments. Wine (Beaujolais in this case) was great. Personnel is nice and...More

Sorry, in my previous review of Le Garde-Manger there was a misprint. I meant "this very good French restaurant" on 466 Queen Street in Auckland not in Sydney.

Don't miss this very good French restaurant in Sydney. I recommend their escargot and other friends in our company liked very much their boeuf bourguignon. The service of the waiters was perfect and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant..
