From walking in the door to paying the bill the service was spectacular, in an era where hospo is doing it hard this team is fantastic. We did the trust the Chef and could not fault a single dish, it was one of the best...dining experiences that I have had in New Zealand.More

Some delicious flavours, service was a little slow but given the aftermath of covid and short staff it is understandable....The mains and desserts were delicious and so was the salad but I wish I had brought my garden scissors as it was unmanageable, looked beautiful....the...charred greens were really unpleasant...More

Open kitchen with nice restaurant decor and ambience. Well trained, polite and professional staff. Nice menu with limited choice however a good selection. Delicious food although quite pricey- $31 for all starters and approx $45 for mains. Extensive wine list for bottle, would be great...to have some European options by the glass however I know the focus of Ahi is NZ. Good for a special occasion or if one’s budget allows more often!More

The whole dining experience was wonderful, from arrival, seating, service and a delicious menu (incl wine menu) and the meals were presented beautifully and even more enjoyable than we could imagine.

Outstanding service and exceptional food. The service was perfect and the waiter was knowledgeable and efficient. They catered for coeliac with no issues and made it easy. Best dining experience in NZ.

We had a fabulous meal that exceeded all our expectations. Food was innovative and faultless. Staff well trained offering immaculate service. Kitchen staff worked like clockwork. Such a shame we live in South Island but we hope to return!

We went to Ahi for our wedding anniversary dinner. The food was imaginative, creatively presented by expert chefs and delivered by top quality wait staff. Wines matched beautifully.
