Food was quite tasty here, though it took a little time to be served. Good variety of dishes as well and quite cheap generally.

I visited this restaurant at 4pm Saturday when others were mostly closed . Service vas friendly and fast. I ordered fool, which is beans dish, mutable, which is eggplant dipping dish and mixed shish kebabs ( lamb and chicken). All dishes were ok, but not wow.

Recently stayed in Perth. Saw good rating and decided to try it. Found it disappointing. Had falafel, Fool and dip. Falafel over cooked. Fool very runny. Dip very plain in taste. Wife wanted to try it a second time. This time falafel better but dip was small in serving size and little flavour.

Its a basic no frills cafe like place. The menu is limited but the strangest thing was we went midweek early evening and most things on the menu were unavailable . No shish anything and basically about 4 dishes could be had. It felt like we were guided to eat left over items .i almost felt the business was closing and using up what was left. I asked for salt and the one person working there said " salt shaker on table" i looked at the 6 tables and all shakers were completely empty . He had to go get a cheap table salt container he used for cooking. We served ourselves to drinks from fridge .the hommos and moutabel tasted good but was such a thin layer its was very skimpy.then the meat came . Big serving rice with a lump of meat that looked jellish .we ate it but i was worried as the owner?server was penny pinching so much it made me wonder where meat was from and how it was kept so it would not be wasted. Unfortunately we took friends to this place to try it first time. Hmmm not a good idea .we then asked for the bill and the price of the meals was higher than was printed on menu so he was not updating that either lol. We got no receipt just a verbal total to pay . Not sure what we paid but my husband said mains were more than on menu. We had 2 small dishes as starters to share $8 each 4 x $17 for mains and very tiny bowl of salty veg and a raita . 2 cokes a ginger beer and an icetea. $120 .
Will i go back ? Never .... its was shocking .

This Restaurant blew me away. The flavours of their lamb and rice were incredible and the serving sizes were so generous. I wish I wasn’t leaving Perth soon so that I could go back.

I'm not sure what their business plan is or what they are hoping to achieve. Its an absolute disgrace. Have been here twice and after taking a seat and shown the menu only to be told only two items are available. Forget this place.

I came to this place while visiting Perth and photos looks good. We ordered two lamb and two chicken mandi. It took more than 30 minutes for food to arrive. When food came, the lamb was stiff like a piece of leather and rice was cold and clearly cooked at least one day ago if not longer. I don’t know how to describe the tastelessness of the meat, and how cold the rice was! My advice to you is to never, ever try anything at this place. It’s a shame for Arabic food and middle eastern cuisine that someone present such a horrible food. One word came to my mind to describe the experience and that’s Disgusting!!!

Got charged $2 dollars eftpos fee because I paid for the kabsa lamb and forgot to get a drink then charged me again $2 eftpos fee and then proceeded to wait 20mins while he I witness him in the kitchen SCRATCHING HES ASS while he was argueing on the phone, my freind came and sat next to me with a Gatorade he already brought with him and the owner quickly dashed over and told him off for bringing he's own drink at that point I asked for a refund which I did not receive which is pathetic, lesson learnt would highly recommend to stay clear from this restraunt.

I like Middle Eastern cuisine and this place looked like a good authentic option but it was very disappointing. Most of the menu wasn't available and what they did have was tasteless and over-priced. I would recommend going somewhere else. Lots of other restaurants nearby on Murray St or Barrack St.

Plain meals without Shi Shi. Try the mandi Chicken. I stayed with my Family in Perth and WE had to go there 3 times because of the amazing chicken.

The worst falafel I’ve ever had, over heated pita in the microwave that turned it hard. Very unfriendly and inflexible staff, never again, if you ever had real falafel before, you’ll know what I’m talking about.

We catered food from Sahara for an office function including a mix of meat and vegetarian dishes. The rice and meat came in a huge serving pot and the vegetarian dishes and dip came in smaller serving dishes. Very presentable and the food was execptional - delicious and tasty with suficient servings for the 20 pax we ordered. The rice was grainy and aromatic while the meat was tender and juicy. All this for under $300.00 - exceptional value.

Arriving in Perth and settling in, this restaurant was across the street from my hotel. I love Middle Eastern food so gave it a try rather than eating at my hotel. I ordered shish kebab which was quite filling and enough for me. The premises were clean and it was home cooking by the wife while the husband was serving. I was only in Perth for the day and definitely will go back next year and hopefully visit this restaurant again. Going by the menu, the prices were quite reasonable.
