Really enjoyed the teppanyaki experience here. We had such fun! The food was delicious and the available choices of menu were great for varying tastes! The only negative is that our booking was for 7pm and we could have been out on the street by...More

My first experience with Teppanyaki and it didn't disappoint. The food was so delish and so filling. I thought the price was good for the amount of food you get (I certainly went away feeling full). Highly recommend for a fun experience and great food.

If you want cheap Teppanyaki lunch, then you should definitely come to this place. They have 4 or 5 lunch sets that are very reasonably priced. The food quality was quite good, and the amount was also pretty good for the price. We went there...More

This teppanyaki restaurant delighted and entertained us. Prepare to wear a bib. The food is prepared before you (set menu) on hot stone. The chefs wield their knives and spatulas with flair. A great selection of meats and seafood and miso to start. Fun for...More

I have been to may tepenaki places and this one was good in regards to food but lacked the flare other had. Given the price your paying I expected a little better than what we got. The chef didn't really interact with us at all.

The atmosphere and entertainment are only matched by the cuisine. Only place for improvement would be for an expanded sake menu. Otherwise I will definitely go back. Th high light was the very attentive service from the wait staff.

Not a very good visit to this restaurant. There was only one table of guests for lunch when we arrived - a family with 2 young children, whose mother thought it might be a calmer experience for us if we were seated a little away...More

I was rather disappointed with our visit here as we had 730 reservations and though we were seated promptly, it was past 8 o'clock before our chef came out to prepare anything. Though his preparation was entertaining it certainly was not to the standard I've...More

The art of Teppanyaki orginates in Osaka 200 years ago and has become extremely popular with gourmets around the world Teppanyaki, which is Japanese barbeque style seafood, quality fillet of meat, etc - presented unprepared and the chefs skillfully display their expertise on the hot plate in front of you. Your meal is personally prepared to your requested taste.

Ginza Teppanyaki located at 139 Little Bourke Street, Melbourne (China Town) was established in 1995. We continue to be one of the impeccable restaurants in the Melbourne CBD. High qualities of food and chefs' superior skills has attracted many regular customers and overseas tourists. Unlike other teppanyaki restaurants, we use cast iron as grill for cooking. It boosts the iron intake which is essential for maintaining energy levels and helps to strengthen the immune systems. We welcome you to come if you are looking for ice-breaking interaction with our teppanyaki chefs and a dinner that covered with joy and laughter.

Our restaurant can cater for a party up to 200 people. Functions we have catered for including end of financial year and Christmas celebrations, bucks and hen's night, school excursion, anniversary, birthday and many special occasions as requested by our customers.
