We had been wanting to try Max Brenner hot chocolate for a long while, having been to the Ganache & Lindt cafes in Melbourne & elsewhere. What a massive disappointment!! 1st: The two staff members got the order completely wrong. How hard can it be...More

As a chocolate lover, I have been waiting to go here for years. I was not disappointed, even though they could not give us the fondue plate we ordered, the strawberries and chocolate were a fabulous substitute. The melted chocolate was Devine. Hubby loved his...More

Had an afternoon snack here. Place is very busy but service was still very good. The cheesecake with melted chocolate on the side was delicious. Unfortunately their hot chocolate was very average, nothing special except maybe the hug mug.

I really enjoy the hot chocolate from here and they do some delicious desserts. It's not as high class as some of the other chocolate places now in Melbourne but it's definitely enjoyable.

Cappuccino with real chocolate-amazing! Crepes with bananas & chocolate delicious. It was busy, however service was good. For me a bit cold for outside even with heaters.

Perhaps it is unfair to judge a Chocolate Bar by their coffee, but it is Melbourne after all! The flat white was average, but the Long Black was a bit of a disappointment in both taste and appearance.

Since I am a chocolate lover, I decided to try this place because its signage is too appealing 😜 I tried the signature hot chocolate, pralines and the milk shake. I really enjoyed it because everything is not too sweet. The hot chocolate and milkshake...More

I "tried" to order a turti fruit waffle and ended up canceling it, after I asked 2 times for my order, while everyone around the table got their orders.. Not recommendable!

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
