Tasty vegetarian food near Victoria market. They do a nice job with their tofu and ingredients are very fresh. Check to be sure they are open .. They weren't open every night when we were there.

We used to buy take away here, rang to place an order and was told "the boss wants you to come to the restaurant, not order take away" Unfortunately this doesn't suit, so we won't be returning.

We have been there sometime ago but were a little put off by a recent review that did not like the service they received. So we decided to give it a try and were were very happy with the quality of food and the service was excellent. Considering the waitress did it all by herself and the restaurant was almost... More

As longstanding patrons of white lotus, we were excited to take interstate visitors to experience what has been our favourite vegetarian restaurant in Melbourne. Arriving at opening time (6pm) we were assured we could have a banquet for four finished by 7.30 in time for our theatre booking. We waiting an hour for entree - 4 springs rolls. We begged... More

This cash only restaurant serves traditional vegan food, mock duck, fish, chicken etc., it has been around for over 20 years and the menu hasn't changed. Unfortunately the duck had a sour taste the last time we ate there and I am thinking that the gluten may not have been as fresh as I would expect. Altogether a low cost... More

We went there for the first time after hearing rave reviews. As a vegan, I was excited to be eating somewhere with so much choice for me on the menu. The decor is an immediate turn off, clinical tiles on the floor and walls don't create much of an atmosphere. However, the service makes up for this as they try... More

My partner recommended this restaurant and the reviews here were good so I thought, give it a go. The fake steak and vegies really didn't cut it. My partner enjoyed her meal. At this stage all I will say is forget the steak and vegies.

I have been to the white lotus a bunch of times and love the service, the atmosphere and the food! I have convinced so many of my die-hard meat eater friends to come along and they all love it. I highly recommend the 'lamb' and the 'crispy skinned fish'. Yum!!
