You will be disappointed, if you don't book in advance. This place is small, heavily booked, but the food is fantastic! Worth a visit for lunch or dinner!

Tis always a pleasure to pop into Movida for some tasty tapas. The tapas list and specials offer quality and genuine food. Seating can be tight and not just at the bar, but the food is worthy. Good wine/drinks list. (Try the Chorizo bombas) Having...More

The food was very nice. Had a selection of tapas, all were presented well, and importantly tasted good. The waitress recommended a Spanish wine, as we hadn't heard of a few on the wine list, and it was a nice accompaniment to the food. The...More

We've eaten at Movida a few times and loved it! Reliable place to enjoy a consistent standard! Convenient address and great to go for a bite after a show. Staff are friendly and helpful and proficient also can recommend a good wine with out hesitation.

Fantastic lunch at Movida. The air dried wagyu was amazing. The sardines were fantastic too. Was so worth the visit .. Keep it up.

Not the best of places. food was ok but overpriced for what we received. I feel it would offer a suitable lunch spot or maybe a drink after work.

Nice food, but trying to get food to share was difficult. Servings were not really designed to be shared between people, even though waitstaff encouraged it when we were ordering. A banquet-style meal for the table would have been $80 a head from a set...More

Hi, as the other travellers have said the menu changes regularly. Best to go online close to the time you book a table and check. Better still, call and talk to the helpful and friendly staff.

When we opened the doors to MoVida in Hosier lane, Melbourne in 2003 no one knew what to expect. Here was this little bar on a graffiti covered cobbled lane near the cathedral serving Spanish tapas and shared plates in a down lit room playing funky tunes. It's the kind of place you can come in for a beer and a jamon croquetta at the bar and then move across to a table and share a plate of slow braised lamb, some patatas a lo pobre and down some seriously good Spanish red wine.
