I have been to Sake on many occasions and it never disappoints. We had a variety of entrees and main dishes. The dumplings were great. The fish tempura and vegetable tempura were light and tasty as was the beef dish. We finished with green tea...More
Located by the Yarra river under Hamer Hall, this place is a gem. Delicate flavours, exquisite presentation, discreet mood in the room. The oyster starter was art on the palate, sashimi - delicate, tempura - crisp & light....... Finished off with chocolate 'nemesis', art on...More
A great place for a great meal during Autumn, lights on the river, people strolling by and a very good menu and drinks list to choose from. A great ambience and a delight for fine Japanese cuisine.

This is the third Sake restaurant that we have visited and this is one of my wife's favourite. The service was excellent and sitting by the Yarra while you eat was a great atmosphere. The food was yet again flavoursome and diverse. It fails to...More
Visited Sake on Saturday evening to celebrate a friend's birthday. The restaurant has a nice feel to it, and with the carefully placed mirror wall everyone at the tables running transverse along the dining room has views of the river, the station, the bridge and...More
