Spent plenty of time in here while stating in the Adina Hotel. QSR is off the lobby in the hotel and it is a hidden gem. Awesome place for a casual meal or a drink. Sit inside in the comfort of the air conditioning or people watch at a table on the street. The service and staff are first rate.... More

I booked a table here after receiving a Dimmi promotion via email, and I'm glad I did! The steaks were fantastic, and the hollandaise sauce did not disappoint. Service was friendly and the venue had a relaxed, casual vibe. Would dine again.

This is not a burger restaurant by any means but after visiting over 15 different burger places in melbourne cbd this is no doubt equal to one of the best burgers in melbourne. The other place would be the Highlander bar. The place has a nice ambience for lunch or dinner, has a great drinks menu and the chips are... More

Good service and good coffee brought us back to this restaurant near every morning! Ideally located next to the Foyer and offers outside seating for relaxed dining while enjoying the sunshine.

My favourite place to eat in Melbourne The steak is amazing, and well priced. Really friendly staff who treat the customers like regulars from your first visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal, relaxed atmosphere and a good beer

So. I recently stayed at the Adina next door and my colleague has been here twice in 2 weeks and raved about the service and how attentive one if the staff members Shane was. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting him and I have to say the service and meal were very average. I ordered a Vietnamese salad advertised... More

Great atmosphere and really break food. Had breakfast here but the lunch and dinner menu choices looked just as good as the breakfast choices. Plus the happy hour and espresso martinis 👌🏼

Stopped in here to escape the rain after a long day at the Queen's Victoria Market and grabbed nice window seats to kick back and relax. The service was friendly and the food was excellent.

Description
This hip urban space in Melbourne's CBD is a welcoming retreat from the cold with its effervescent fit-out, attentive service and creative cuisine.

Queen Street Rescue Restaurant Bar dishes out contemporary Australian fare with unique flavour combinations. The restaurant has a rustic, weathered look about it, from the shabby chic wall panels in white, baby green and lilac hues to the long timber tables with their bucolic-style wooden chairs.

Great food, wine and some old fashioned table service where the wait staff do more than just take your order but make you feel like you've been coming here for years!

We also cater for those needing a Gluten Free menu!

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
