The title says it all. Great views up & down the Yara River! (Not diminished by the odd rain shower!) Reasonable prices.

Called in for an afternoon drink while exploring the city on foot. Was a bit cold and rainy but we were warm and dry with heaters and blankets. The hot mulled wine hit the spot

Creative location under the bridge and great on a nice sunny warm day but on a cold winter's night it was fairly miserable and the wine was average at best.

Great little place to pop in for a bite and snack. Was super busy when we went but still a nice spot to meet with friends. Their pizzas are really good so definitely worth a try if your looking for something to snack on!

Despite the location and the crowded appearance, this bar is charming and of course has a very good location and view. Ordering is through an app, which makes it swift but maybe it's not everyone's preference.

Looking around and seeing that it was highly ranked, I entered the place celebrating our engagement and staff were rude and abusive. I complained about a cracked glass to a bar staff member and they were dismissive and horrible. When you see my other reviews...I talk about customer service, this isn’t customer service.More

A wonderful afternoon with drinks turned into a nightmare when uneducated security guards cannot read social cues and tell the difference between drunks and customers having a good time. We were rudely 'terminated' from the venue. Their security will gladly kick you out for having...a great time. They will deem you a 'drunk' after one drink and escourt you out. Beware of your quick exit. And the staff were just as bad being rude and aggressive towards us They will happily gang up on your party to have you kicked out. Will not return at all. I agree with all of the low ratings reviews. Worst experience See you later pony fish.More

Had a couple of drinks with a view of the river which was very enjoyable! Even when it began raining, we had enough cover to stay dry and people watch! Friendly staff, prices were on the higher side but to be expected in Melbourne.

Called in to have a beer and nibbles. It was a fun environment with friendly staff. Food was good and a great choice of beers. Sitting in the sunshine watching boats go by ND pedestrians along the Riverwalk was very enjoyable.

Charcuterie Platter was a joke, $38 for rubbish produce and completely missed the mark. Don’t bother wasting your money there are plenty of of other places along the Yarra. Small Asahi beer $11 totally overpriced.

On arrival one of our group asked a fairly simple question to a staff member, soon to be identified as the Venue Manager, only to receive a very condescending (smart-ar@#) reply as he continued on with whatever he was doing. Shortly after, this VM was...very indifferent to a complaint from one of the group as overspray from his disinfectant squirter bottle blew into her face from the breeze as he wiped down our dirty table. Spraying the table a second time with almost same result was shear arrogance and naturally effected a more vocal reaction. His self serving response and disingenuous apology (of sorts) did nothing to diffuse the situation. A few minutes later when I tried to order our first round of drinks from the bar I was advised service has been refused to all persons on our table. When I asked her why, with a smarmy smirk and obvious sense of conceited empowerment she smugly advised "because you abused the VM and we are refusing service to all of you. And we can do that so all of you should to leave now." And so we did. With this sort of culture it was obvious why this venue was half empty despite nearly all other Southbank venues being packed. They say a fish rots from the head down. What an apt adage for a venue of this name. PS None of the group were intoxicated or unruly.More

Away in the precinct for a couple of days and thought we would try Ponyfish for a snack and a drink. The actual venue is OK, not greatly comfortable but acceptable and the locality is great. My wife had a glass of wine and I...had a beer. The draft beer was a little off and I suspect the lines need cleaning. We shared a Charcuterie Board. Unfortunately, that board was a little strange with some items, grapes for instance, not listed on the menu. Some other items were also missing and some had been substituted. Just seemed strange but we ate most of it eventually. Would not go back.More

Good spot right in the middle of the Yarra River. Staff were friendly and helpful with selections. We shared a pizza which was good. This is a good spot to spend an hour or two whilst in Melbourne.

A nice little bar right on the water close to south bank area. Has a limit on numbers so get in quick! A range of drinks and smaller eats available. A nice spot to look up or down the Yarra!

It is a bar not a cafe so it is not really a place for children.. that being said , I have seen children there with their parents. It is a great place to just sit and meet up with friends.
